@CheckmateMMA kai resume is pretty mid, I believe he can win by ko with punchers chance but that's bout it. Pantoja rag dolls him honestly Pantoja has the power to ko him too. Kai is a reckless brawler hands down and his knees and soccer kicks won't be allowed people are expecting him to win but I wouldn't put money on it honestly. But I am rooting for him because man there's has never been a UFC Japanese champion as big as Japan mma is.

Nah youre right. Pantoja should win this with his grappling. This guy is really dangerous on the feet though. If the champ eats one of those knees its GG. Asakura would probably beat a lot of striking based flyweights but not someone with Pantoja's BJJ. Also theres going to be a lot of pressure to debut vs the champ. In any case id say the current fight odds reflect his chances pretty well. Decent underdog but id probably go with Pantoja by sub
