I LOVE how they make accomodations for Zach and don't make a big deal out of it. As a disabled person it makes me wildly happy to see illness issues treated in such a good and chill way.

They cared more about a faux record than their friend's health even after he repeatedly told them he was on doctor's orders not to eat more, and they still pressured him into eating way more than he should have. I just lost a ton of respect for them over that.

I love the way Zach kinda owns his limitations. As someone in a similar situation with my eating restrictions it's so nice to see him just own it and the guys are respectful instead of teasing him

But his life is irrevocably changed. He damaged his marriage and hurt his children. He lost a business he had put a lot of work into and in the meantime put his very best friends at risk of losing their hard work and the crew being unemployed. I can't imagine why, but his world will never be the same.
Eugene, Keith and Zach took all the right steps and they are better than ever.
Bad guy punished, good guys safe. I pray that Ariel, Wes and Fin will eventually be okay.

this reminds me of the time my aunt (who owns a dim sum restaurant) made about a hundred dumplings for an order and the customer never came, so instead of dumping the food or storing it, she told me, my sister and cousins, that whoever finishes the most dumplings she'll give us fifty bucks. prlnsl The biggest and most obvious mistake a person can make in an eating contest is to eat slow because it takes time for the human body to recognize when it’s full. So if you eat fast you can eat more before your body has a chance to realize it’s getting full. Notice how fast Eugene was eating compared to the other Try Guys and how he ate the most... it’s not an Asian thing. It’s all about technique.

When Mike asked if anyone has died from eating too much food....the answer is yes. There's actually a medical condition where a person physically cannot register that they're full. And...if that person just keeps eating and eating...well...say goodbye to your lungs

my brother has something similar to that. he was born with a disconnect between his stomach and his brain, so for the first 7-8 years of his life, he never knew he was hungry and therefore he wouldn't eat. we had to basically make him eat bc we knew that if he didn't, he'd end up dead.
there was an episode of this on CSI and it was based on a true story. I don't remember the name of the condition but basically this man had to tie his brother's wrists to a chair to stop him from eating. Eventually he broke free and went on a food rampage and ended up dead in a garbage bin where the CSI's found him and the ME declared death by overeating.

Well I haven’t seen any of those episodes but it takes awhile to congeal broth, and it takes awhile to extract the gelatin. Do they get 8+ hours?
@@monhi64 no, they usually get around 1-3 hours per day (sometimes they have up to 3 days to complete the dish)
