I just followed a link in your email because Disney caught my eye. I'm so glad I did. I didn't know needing to make one's resume tracking friendly was even a "thing." I'll go find the other video. I don't remember if it was past my bedtime, but I do remember watching Disney on Sunday nights. My brothers and I always looked forward to it and we were never disappointed.

I'm amazed- just 2 years ago they had *maybe* 2 remote positions open. I stopped checking because I was so discouraged (I don't live near a metro). I'll have to restart that search again. Thanks!

This is great thank you! Oh darn! None of the remote jobs they have are beginner friendly for me ☹️ I’ve applied to a work from home jobs every day and all I get is rejection 😔 it’s probably because I don’t have much work experience I used to work at a grocery store which is pretty useless it seems I guess who would want to hire someone like me 😞
Keep an eye on their job listings, they do drop customer service related jobs in there periodically!
Don't undervalue the skills you picked up working in a grocery store!! I worked in a grocery store years ago and there's a lot more to it than meets the eye.
Depending on what your role was, you likely have:
Multi-Tasking, Time Management, Interpersonal Skills, Patience, Customer Service, Teamwork, Attention to Detail, Cultural Awareness, Inventory, Problem Solving, Initiative, Following Procedures, Organization, and more!
These are all things you can build into your resume, but first, you need to take a good look at yourself and your experience and acknowledge that you DO have skills and you WILL be an asset to an employer. I can't stress enough the importance of projecting what you want others to see, @doejohn6197.
Working at a grocery store requires customer service skills, problem solving skills, efficient check out process, and people skills. It also requires use of computer screens and 10 key checkout processes. Processing payment transactions via credit cards and cash, and reconciling your drawer at end of shift or close. Where do you not have experience? 🙂
