Rameshwaram is an island connected with mandapam island through Pamban bridge.Rameshwaram is famous for tourism & pilgrimage.Fishing, Tourism & pilgrimage are major sources of income in Rameshwaram.Dhanushkodi, the ghost town is near to Rameshwaram and both these points are must visit tourist destinations in India. Rameshwaram is located at the tip of Tamil Nadu and is the closest point near Srilanka.

Autos are fair if you bargain and rental scooter are best if you can bear the scorching heat
