I really loved this one! I feel like y’all could talk about anything and it would be entertaining. This one was very introspective and got me to think about myself as well, like how I need to make time for myself. Been stretching myself thin by worrying about everyone else in my life; this reminded me I gotta make time for me as well.

This is just really wholesome, I’d be down with more episodes that have the two of you just kinda talking about random shit. I feel like it reminds people that people that make content are still like real people that have lives outside of this and people just don’t think of that enough. I really enjoyed it!

@@ImperiumMagistrate Ive seen that take multiple times. As a christian, I get it, but that depends on how you see life and God. Personally I see Him as a father, not as a source of meaning. He gave us, freedom, and in freedom we have to live, not always rely on Him (if that makes sense).
@@cortomaltese5206 um no that’s not what the bible says. Jesus in the bible says he is the way, the truth and the life and nobody comes to the father unless it is through him. It makes it clear only God can forgive us
God allows us to have free will but that doesn’t mean everything we do pleases him. You think a person abusing children makes God happen?
These two are poster children for cradle culture catholics. Both “raised” catholic (ie going to church once in a while, doing the ceremonies and nothing else), never had faith to begin with and leave God for selfish reasons. Like I get it is sad to lose a grandfather to a painful death but what exactly would have been an acceptable way for him to die? He makes it about himself and his mother about herself. Not thinking his pain is over and he’s in heaven but they’re sad for themselves. His grandfather could’ve lived to 100 and he’d still probably have been upset
Veronica is the same thing. She clearly didn’t have religious parents besides cultural reasons, then her mom tries to bond the family together and she views it as a punishment. Like if her mom decided they’d all spend an hour together as a family watching TV would she hate TV then? I get her dad was abusive but what is her mom suppose to do to avoid losing their family? Instead of trying to reconcile things or actually listen to the bible she just pouts about not being able to get an extra hour of cartoons. Did she even listen to the masses or no?
This has been my favorite episode of the podcast so far I loved hearing you guys both discuss on a subject matter together and would be totally interested in hearing you guys discuss other subject matters together in between interviews if you guys are able to. Bababooey.

A big thing I've taken within the past year while reading up on the mindset of Tibetan Buddhist was that you are what you surround yourself with. The people around you, the media you consume and the environment you put yourself in. It's cool to know that they've been following that same road to self actualization to be more mindful and self aware :)

Our anxiety about death is an instinctual product of evolution coming up against the foresight of human intelligence. Animals who fear death live longer but humans are one of the few that understand the inevitable nature of death. It helps to remember that there is an eternity past and therefore you didn't exist for the majority of that eternity, and that wasn't really so bad.
Also I'd recommend watching The Midnight Gospel.
