I love this video as I'm building a scale model of the Kish Lighthouse at the moment. I've a copy of the original plans which are great but I would love to get more detail imagery of railings etc on the external of the lighthouse and also more details on the lantern room as I plan to have the light replicated too. Ultimately I'd love to be able to get out to the Kish and take details of some of the internals. I'd be hoping to be able to take the model apart to show some of the major functions of it. If someone could help here it would be fantastic. Richard.
Hello Richard, I managed to get out to the Kish, originally as part of a schools project in Greystones. The "Commissioners", and in particular, one individual, facilitated the 3 day visit. It was terrific. I have stills, on my files here, they might be of help, and my post production Solid Design produced a wonderful piece of animation, which was on the original dvd. Regards, Leonard Sheil (Lightkeepersfilms)
@@lightkeepersfilms wow, that was great you could get out there....the stills would be a fantastic help ok. I can forward my email if you'd be good enough to send some. I'm still considering what I might show in some of the floors, but that's a matter of how much detail I can manage to get in the first place to show off... thanks again, Richard
