I had the Fake-tamas that were the McDonald'd toys that came out in 1997, I was in Pre-school at the time and I told my teacher I needed to go to my locker every so often to feed my toy, which was actually just a flashlight but they let me because they thought it would make me more responsible. I wonder if they ever found out I lied.
your teacher was really nice. when i was in primary school in the 2000's, teachers didn't care about our tamagotchis and they always died because of class
I literally did the same thing. I had a Giga Pet when my family did a huge move, and I would ask to go to the bathroom to check in with my virtual pet midday to see a friendly face. It's all very pathetic. haha

I used to play Tamagotchi growing up I was born in the 2000s. I had three of them but I ended up losing all three of them I have no idea where they are and I haven’t seen them in over a decade... out of nowhere I stumbled upon them while on Amazon and now I’m ordering the new Tamagotchi On in Fairy Pink! I plan to start a whole collection of Tamagotchi‘s!! This video was helpful and awesome!! Thank you so much 😊

I remember in 2014 when I found out the 4u was coming out I was so excited and ever since then I’ve been collecting too! The Sanrio mix is by far my fav and I can’t wait for the new mix in November! ^_^ it makes me so happy seeing someone else still loving tamas 💗💗
The one coming out in November is called the Meets, it is not another mix release and I am also super excited about it!

I had the Sabrina the Teenage Witch Salem cat one. Gave it to one of my childhood best friends and she still has it. Last time I saw it at her house I had a really hard time not asking for it back. Lol. *Guess that's a Gigapet)

I have the blue one with bubbles Ocean. I bought it in 1998 at TRU, and it was the same price as a regular tama--$14.99. I don't run it any more, even though it works just fine. It's too difficult to run, especially with work, and I never got an adult anyway.
Yeah the ocean was def the hardest to care for I wonder if she has the tamagotchi angel and tamagotchi forest? The forest or bug tamagotchi is also super rare 😔 I’ve been wanting one for so long lol. But I love my angel tamas.

I'm sure you already found this out, but if not, that Mametchi carrying case was paired with the V3 Connection c: I have two actually, one English release that I got when I was younger, and the Japanese release I got online a couple years ago. They're slightly different in design
I recently got the 20th anniversary edition. They are too cute, but not much play. I really wish they sold more tamagotchi items here in Germany.

im so sad i dont have my tamagotchis anymore! as a kid i had a tamagotchi lanyard with 8 of them but i gave some away just because i wanted my friends to have fun like i was... only for them to get lost or for the friends to intentionally break them (a friend poured soda on one :( it was sunflower themed). i still have a few pieces of memorabilia like the little figures that came with the tamagotchi tree for online connection. i also have one of the movies that came with a tamagotchi as a promo! i hope i can find the lanyard!!
my oldest one was either p1 or p2 but my brother broke it by biting the buttons off of it :((

I have a lot of different brand Tamagotchis like the Manaphy no Tamago, the Pokewalker, Linkle Smartphone, and the Angel-E watch, but I also have Bandai Tamagotchis like the Sanrio M!x, the tama profy, the yumekira bag, the 20th anniversary US release, and the Japan-exclusive Gudetama collaboration!
Gudetama is now in English as well, and was available at GameStop. My wife has both the Japanese and English versions; both are the solid yellow one with the face on them.
The character that had few releases was named Moriritchi! I have that same plush.
So my collection currently is:
1 P2, 1 V2, 1V3, 1V4, 1V4.5, 1 Uratama, 2 V5, 1 Music Star, 1 Tamagotchi Friends, 2 4U, and 1 20th anniversary mini.
The regular connections are probably my fave to run, like V2-V4.5. I never ran the Tamagotchi Friends, I actually just received it for free from a friend bc they didn't like it, but knew I collected them (and I heard that version is awful lol). I also kinda hate the V5's haha, I only have two bc the second one was a gift. I would die for an Ocean, but realistically I would like to add and Angel to my collection someday soon. I would also like to get some more P1's and P2's bc I love the original design, esp the clear ones.

The mametchi/kutchipatchi/memetchi carrying cases on the lanyards came out with the v4 connections!! ♡♡ I got my memetchi case with my green v4 connection, it was my first tamagotchi apart from a p2 that belonged to my mother xx

I found a sealed tamagotchi lanyard at a thrift store for $1. On amazon it's called "Tamagotchi Connection V5 Tamagotchi Lanyard- TamaLeash Meme Family" and it's very cute! But I can't seem to find it anywhere online to buy. Came with a small clip I turned into a fridge magnet. Not really a tamagotchi collector but I do remember taking one I had to elementary school and having it beep all day! Still have it somewhere

I remember owning and loving my Tamagotchis back in the early 00's... I miss them!! I fell out of touch with 'girly' stuff for a while, but what I wouldn't give to have five or six of those dangling off of my keys now! A lot of the ones I see online nowadays seem to be pricey, but that won't stop me from asking for a Sanrio Mix for a birthday :)
I really want to start collecting Tamagotchi again but I don't have the funds to do so :( I owned a P2 and the original McDonald's toys and collected through connection V3 I think before I got swamped with life stuff. Recently I found out that my mom threw them all away a few years ago *screaming eternally*

Hey lor! I’m living in Japan now and was thinking about getting the Sanrio mix. It’s like 70$ though so instead I decided to get the gudetama gotchi that was only ~$20. I’m not really enjoying it, you can’t do anything with it other then place a simple left or right game and feed it. Also it won’t seem to die no matter how much I neglect it. I love the shell of it though. What do you think? Is it worth it for the mix?

Ok, I got my first tamagotchi, the tamagotchi mini it was light blue with pick numbers and it was getting plain so I decorated it with clay it has honeydew and red dots. And I got 2 more of them but I have a pink one my first pink one was broken so I got another one it was broken again....😓 and I got 2 odd pets 1 I liked very much because i understand it more and I got another it was junky and busted I really hate it I’m angry😾 and then I got this purple tamagotchi friends I got for my birthday, I loved it!👍🏼😸 and then I got this tamagotchi spacy mix! I got it for Christmas i was so happy! And then I got this 1997 tamagotchi, I was happy when I got it🙂 and then i got this tamagotchi Connection V2 I was so happy!😸 and I got this telein toy I was happy I don’t really know where it is....🤔 and I got a watchlin toy, i think I know where it is... and I got a lovelin tour bus with a lovelin figure with a chair, and some figures.... butterflytchi, (with a stage set.) yumemitchi with a stage set, decoratchi, himespetchi, kiraritchi, an this little character that likes the cold and her birthday is on December 15. And I got a mimitchi plush and since Sanrio is BFF’s with TMGC’s I got a little hello kitty plush clip, and a really BIG hello kitty plush that I got a long time ago on Valentine’s Day and I think that’s it!😸

I'm late to comment on this video.. but gosh I wish they got the 4u+ english patch out soon q-q I'm sure it's a hassle to do though. Also makes me wonder why Tamagotchi doesn't have their more interactive Tamas released outside of Japan... I guess it would be a poor business decision? They would probably lose money because it wouldn't be as popular. Honestly though, I feel like they would be a hit..but, hmmm even them having to deal with making several different translations would also be a loss.
Pretty sure it's illegal to mark down the cost of items to avoid customs (100% is for things coming into the uk) :/ might want to edit that part out!

Even I just looked it up and I only found 3 tamagotchi within the fake one

FunkyUniverse yes last night I was looking up the fake v3 tamagotchi on forum they do look real apart from not having bandai on the back . It seem like they are the most faked one . Yes I alot of people even give good reviews for the fake tamagotchi Q pets they have out now not realizing it the fake. Try face book groups they have selling groups there as well. I haven try buying one for myself from a seller group yet. I get most of my tamagotchi from Japan you want and ebay from people second hand.

Nice collection!!! I have the same Tamawalkie and the black disco Music Star as you do. I'm not to big into the color tamas---I do have a plus color (black one), and iD, an iDL,and an idLe (all blue). The 4u, p's, and the mixes and meets didn't do anything for me. I'm getting the ON though--the blue one, of course. You're on TamaTalk too, aren't you?
