- This is how simple it is to change the brake pads on your monster Moto mini bike along with many other mini bikes with the same brake caliper.
Check out www.monsterscooterparts.com for all your mini bike needs.

I’ve also figured out that it’s always the same side that’s wears out. Still lots of pad left, so I just stick a 3/8 flat washer between the caliper side and the brake pad.
Good video but stop banging them on the table
😂
Hes thinking! Some people do that when they're being recorded
Excuse me young man, but I found this more than helpful, loved the simplicity of what you done,
Mount the two side loosely without that v clip . Then use a thin screwdriver to push the v clip into place between the two brake pads until they click into place . Tighten up the two halves with the two Allen screws and your finished . Easier than trying to fight with the v clip . Or better yet just upgrade to hydraulic brakes . It's easy to do . They sell an exact replacement hydraulic caliper for those mechanical brakes . Easy to do . 👍🏻
I followed the same steps you took and now my mini bike stops perfect thanks for the video. Very useful
Dude you don’t have to talk for 2 minutes and bang it on the table the entire time. Good god
Well why did you waste the two minutes of your life?
Stop banging them things. Bad mic noise
I have look all around the internet trying to find a video that would help me with changing the pads and I couldn't find one till just now this was the only helpful video I found...thank you
I'm glad you find it helpful.
I was unable to figure out why my brakes were way too far away from the rotor, but watching this helped, I'm missing a piece. Thanks for the help, parts have been ordered.
Great video and instructions, some people will never except simple instructions...Wow
I can't hear you over the tapping n scraping
Ok boomer
Haha I literally have never seen someone pick up and tap down an object in front of the camera this much. Ever. Hahaha. Definitely a good informative video but god damnnnn.
Very good. I was confused to why the pads fell out and I couldnt get them to stick back in
All I could focus on was him dropping the brakes
It was doing my head in him keep dropping the caliper!
Very useful to know, thanks.
Thank you!
Helped me 👍
Very good video sir thanks!!!
This tip helped me now what I was doing
Thank you 👌
Do you jave a video how to install it?
would anybody happen to know where i can get that clip that goes in between the brake pads? i lost mine & can’t find it online
You may have to order a complete caliper. I've never seen that part by itself. It'll be less than 20 bucks on Amazon.
i just installed new brake pads for my 212 cc bike and it wears down in like 2-3 rides and i dont ride more than an hour i dont know if its the pads or the whole caliper
Are your brakes to tight on the rotor? They should just barley touch when new,and after that should start to wear. One side tend to wear more than the other. Also those cheap Amazon or ebay pads have worn faster for me than other or the pad come completely off the brake itself.
Those style of breaks aren’t really made for 212cc. Usually made for 80/105cc. Also depends on the pads some brands wear out faster than others unfortunately.
cant get the pads back over the disc after i reassembled...acting like theres not enough gap btwn the pads
might have gotten the wrong pads
i normally dont comment but man u need to slow down on showing the caliper u kept moving it so its hard to view
You constantly plopping that brake assembly is quite an annoying sound.
Well why did you watch it and what do you want me to do about it?
Reminded me of professional poker players stacking their chips constantly. I thought he was about to double down.
My daughters 80cc inner brake pad always rubs the rotor. Is that normal for it to rub the inside of rotor or is it supposed to be a space between it like the outer pad? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
If it's the same as the one I have in the video yes. It's very hard to get the perfect adjustment on the caliber.
Yes it's the exact same one. I took the caliper off and tried to see if I could adjust the back pad but it's not adjustable! I'll see if I can move the back wheel over a hair to see if I can get some of the pressure off the rotor. Thanks for your help!
I wouldn't recommend that. It'll throw the line of the chain off causing the chain to snap and possibly injury you daughter.
IStrokerl yeah I ordered two of these mini bikes for me and my brother and the damn caliper is on way too tight. Bikes wouldn’t even take off cause the caliper seems to be holding too hard. How do I go about properly loosening it to get it to spin freely again?
@@maxboya try loosing the arm on the caliper the little handle the cable runs to. You want your brake pad just to touch the rotor without any drag. Let me if you get em going.
If you need new parts for it, you can get them at www.MegaMoto.Parts
