What size is the back sprocket I can't seem to find one or the size to it on the mini bike we got the teeth are all wore out so if you could let me know what size I need to find be nice thank you
I have run into a sprocket that appears to either be made onto the rim or pressed on to the rim. There are no bolts anywhere on the sprocket, just a bearing in the center. Now, this mini bike id extremely old, I have it when I was about 8 years old, and i will turn 54 here on May 8th 2022. So, it is really old. I am very mechanically inclined and have looked at this sprocket with great detail and can only believe it is pressed on in a way that it appears to be one with the rim. Ever seen anything like that in the mini bike world? I have a few photos but obviously cannot post them here, but would like to get someone's experienced eye on it.
The year on the bike is between 2004-2011 my bikes an 08 it should say it on the shroud on the old engine but it's seen better days in your situation so it might of gotta sun baked and pealed off
No actually them tires he's using are pretty easy to get off, I get them off in like 5mins with a long screw driver. It's the small, narrow tires you want to watch out for, they are a pain. Like on snowblowers.
@@TheShangralaaaa17 yeah maybe if you don't know how to take a tire off lmao! It should come off with ease with a bit of dawn dish soap. How you bend your rim is forcing it, break the bead, squeeze then angle your rim a bit and use the screwdriver to slip the tire over the lip- sometimes you need another to push the tire out but that's as needed.
@@TheShangralaaaa17 Yeah it might bend it if you're using some piece of shit chinesium harbor frieght rim. I've never bent a stock rim on a gokart or minibike with a screwdriver. Scratched the paint sure but you ain't bending a good rim with a screwdriver.
Great video. Thanks. How much room do I need to leave between the frame tabs to hold a rear wheel assembly like yours with sprocket and disk.

How do you put air in that back tire after you installed the sprocket?
what carb cleaner did you use
What size bearring??
what screws did you use to install the sprocket and brake disk?
did you find out??
Could you post the wheel size, tire size/ make. thanks

Thank you, this helped a lot
Thanks! This helped alot. I started restoring a old mini bike and couldnt figure out the barings.
Awesome video and channel as always !!!!
Thank you!
Really helpful thanks
A heat gun or even a hair blow dryer will loosen the adhesives and you can peel those stickers off in seconds. :)
What was the stock clutch and chain? I have stock engine but not sure what clutch I have to buy all I know that it’s an 11 tooth
Run 12t in the front and the stock in the rear, I run about 50 on a stock predator 212 with that gearing.
While you had the wheels down that far why didn't you paint them
My real axle came off my wheel on my Baja db30. The chain just spins but it’s not longer connected to the actual wheel to move
you forgot to show the tire removal and install..........had to take mine to a shop to get'em on!!! however they were easier getting off
Another great video.
Very helpful, thank you
Thanks for watching!
Think u can help with mine
Where did you get the bearings from?
Amazon
What’s the tire size
I don't recall :(

@@lumbridgelegends Yes !!
@@Johnnysshop Where can I find a stock rim?
could you do me a huge favor and measure your rear axel?
Hard part isnt seating the bead its removing the old tire from such a small rim
