I had LITERALLY just complained to a buddy a day before that they'd probably never do another 2D Metroid.

I'm so glad the Metroid series is getting more new games, it's been waaay too long since the main series had a release. Speaking of main series, this is an AWESOME rendition of a great Fusion song! Once Dread is out I'd love to see your take on some of that music as well!

Nintendo knew that we were facing a huge reaction when they revealed Dread.
One of those soundtracks that goes unappreciated because of the GBA sound hardware. Superb job.
Agree. Metroid Fusion is incredibly dark, and the soundtrack conveys it brilliantly.

Fusion is a excelent game but the hardware was another story....

This brought tears to my eyes. I've been looking for something like this for almost half a decade now. It finally exists. The only thing that could make me happier is more Fusion. Now, after almost 20 years, Fusion is getting the attention it deserved all this time.
Honestly, Metroid fusion has to be my favorite game. I'm so glad you made an arrangement of its OST !
This sounds so heroic and epic. I think it's fitting because most of the game is rather tense, depressing and scary, and the difference creates contrast. This theme is very inspiring which is what is needed to face dangers that are ahead.

But yeah. I'm thrilled. Still riding high on that announcement. I saw the news article and NOA's tweet and thought "No, that's gotta be fake, there's no way Metroid Dread is real."

Last Instruction/Final Mission or bust! Honestly, you can't go wrong with doing more remakes of any of Metroid Fusion's great soundtrack, really.

More Metroid Fusion, yes! I realized I didn't say it at the time, but the Crisis Mission arrangement was absolutely incredible (I was the one who commissioned it). If you're considering doing another Fusion arrangement I would love to hear Sector 1.

Great orchestral arrangement! While it no longer feels like Metroid-themed music (maybe more of a Smash rendition for a single player campaign), it is lovingly arranged! It's a whole new sound ✨

This is incredible! I love the heroic tone to this, as this is usually the theme you hear when you overcome a threat or finish a task.

Fusion is Metroid 4. Dread was introduced in the trailer as Metroid 5.
And rumors of a game called Dread as a Fusion sequel have been floating around since 2005 or thereabouts. They were active when Prime 3 came out.
There's also been screenshots that included the Fusion Suit and the X Parasites.
I am happy to report that it is, indeed, a Fusion sequel.
