For those still having trouble connecting AirPlay to LG TV. This worked for me:
Unpairing all devices from TV, resetting network settings on my phone, and turning wifi off and then on through the TV settings. Then retyping my Wifi Password/paraphrase and was able to finally connect my AirPlay to the TV.
I can’t fine airplay on my tv. 🙁😵💫 my menu is different. Plz help me

Not working for me. My wife connects to it via android. My tv doesn’t show when I swipe down.

Your breath stinks you need to brush your teeth before you comment again i almost dropped my phone because I thought it was the scent of the dead like a ghost or something but I noticed before you commented that you didn’t brush your teeth so your screen was foggy and heavy just as a favor to Everyone else just some like mouth wash or a quick like 20 seconds of brushing your tongue would be helpful
How did you get it full screen? Is my iPhone X too old? I can airplay on my LG, but it’s phone-sized with the black border.

I guess it's happending when TV detect some regions by network (i had same problem).
Reset your TV to factory settings and when setup it, skip "Connect to network" step. After setup ends press home button and AirPlay widget/button will appear. Connect the network and enjoy.
Sure TV must have AirPlay support. On box it has badge with notification.
