    Excellent footage! How do you convert your tapes? You seem to get the best quality out there!

      For Hi8 footage like this I use an ATI 600 USB capture dongle, then use VirtualDub and Avisynth for whatever visual cleanup the footage needs as well as deinterlacing and upscaling for RUclips.

    Nice catches! I like the B&O CPL and C&O Tri-Light Signals, the classic EMD power, and the Leslie RS5T Air-Horn a lot! Really nice!

    CSX and NS from Columbus, Ohio to Kenova, WV, plus Marion and Carlisle.
    0:00 - crossing under Interstate 270 outside Columbus.
    1:09 - Ashville Pike bridge near Rickenbacker AFB (site today of NS's Rickenbacker IMF)
    3:53 - same location just under the bridge.
    4:31 - Lockbourne.
    4:58 - Kenova, WV.
    8:02 - Barboursville wye
    10:09 - Marion
    12:54 - Carlisle, OH.

    13:00 the switch to the old Cincinnati northern connection/now Dupps industry.
    Also at this location is where a train on siding was rear ended by another train killing an engineer(about 2005 or so.)
    The engineer transferred from the NYC/PC Bellfontaine line.
