I have used the plastic mesh tubes because they are in all kinds of colors. I have done them with lights and flowers in the center. I did one of the starfish, anchor, fishtail, cross, four-leaf clover 🍀, wheels, and a shell which was the hardest one I have done. My favorite one was a Cancer bow in pink with white flowers and fairy lights I gave to my Aunt who kicked cancers buttocks. She loves it by the way.

You could also add the white tear drop berry vine shaped in a circlelar shape to look like a crown of thorns . I saw this on a wooden cross at the Hobby Lobby store.

Wow that came out beautiful and I was crossed in my hand the other day when I don't start was stillng a clearance everything 50 cents yes I went crazy but I put that back cause I was focusing on something else and I waited mine with ribbon that is beautiful your mother's gonna love it have a wonderful day.
