One thing I’ve noticed and sure all of you have is that Jacoby hangs on to the ball too long. He has to get rid of the ball twice as fast or faster and if no one is open throw the ball away. His reaction time passing is just to slow and you can see receivers open initially if he just pulled the trigger and trusted his receivers.
Receivers are actually open, JB is just slow on his reads to throw the ball in tight windows or just seeing that open Receiver, it’s by the time he looks their direction there’s a defender there. That receiving core is getting frustrated with his quarterback play.
Alex Van Pelt has got to design plays for a quick release of the ball from Jacoby. If Josh McDaniels were here, I bet he would have a better system than what they're running now. Just sayin'!
What is important is getting Drake some playing time at some point ... Not having him start ... some of you folks are focused on the wrong thing, probably because you are listening to the crowds talk goofy .. Drake should come in later after the 1rst quarter is established by Jacoby.. so 2nd quarter.. but against teams, we are playing the second time around..for quality purposes / scouting.. game planning..
ACL's take at least a full season of playing to get back to feeling good again no matter the sport, we get a few in the National Rugby League being similar to the NFL in some ways. Juju is a good example close to home for the Pats.
