I'm sorry it wasn't good video 👎👎👎 but your channel is the best ever I REALLY 💞LOVE💞 YOUR VIDEOS. I can't wait to see your more video. Good luck brother. From London
Great video please don’t take this wrong but glazing putty or spot putty as it is sometimes called will not adhere to bare metal well at all you must primer the surface beforehand with the proper primer and allow it to dry then use the spot putty to fill minor imperfections
When I first started watching, I wondered what you were going to do about the blade because it was obvious that it was too far gone for sharpening. It was very clever of you to use an old knife blade. The project turned out wonderfully, but I have a question. Why do you use your vise backwards?
Nice job, u really brought this one back from the dead, only one question, why didn’t I harden the blade? Especially after using a cutting disc it can change the steels hardness
Сорванный и сломанный крепёж легко выкрутить при помощи сварочного аппарата, необходимо приварить гайку подходящего размера к проблемному болту и выкрутить гаечным ключом. Во-первых нагрев, во-вторых рычаг.
It’s main purpose was to cut tobacco leaves. People also used it for cutting other types of leaves as well in the kitchen. But the word Tobacco doesn’t get much love come to find out in a title or description on RUclips.
Not saying you are not good at what you do you obviously have skills but I’m curious as to why if you look at your thumbnails to your vids practically all have the same coloured rust and patina on them 🤔
At 3:36 you decide to use an easy-out (screw extractor)? Get some Kano Aerokroil- spray it and let it sit an hour or two or maybe overnight. Oh! Now you broke it! Get a goddamned T-Handle and quit hammering on the extractor! You're far too impatient for this type of restoration work. Look at all the time wasted welding and grinding instead of removing screws properly.
If you liked this video you'll love this antique Corn Sheller from 1890.

No annoying music, no talking, plenty of info, beautiful shots, masterful work.
Nice restoration. Your were accurate using the pipe at the end, this is actually a tobacco cutter and not for food.
I knew it couldn't be a food cutter.
He probably just said food so the video wouldn't get demonetized
😠, looked too small for food - related to smoking
Nice to know. I thought it looked useless as a food cutter.
One of the things l like about your channel is that you introduce us to so many very cool things from our past. Thanks for that.
Nice job brother. Like from India.
AWESOME!! Great video Lost & Restored!

Probably so the camera can have better angles

No matter how hard I clap my hands, I can’t get a vise to appear on my workbench!
Please, kids, don't try to smoke bubble gum. And don't smoke tobacco either.
Do YOU smoke bubble gum in a corncob? 🤣😂🤣😂🤣🦊

Woah woah woah…you can smoke bubble yum like it’s tobacco?!

Am I the only one who’s kind of upset that he destroyed that kitchen knife just to make this lol
У меня всегда слезы на щеках, когда сваривают чугун.
12:09. Ты что каратэ занимаешься? 😁
Это я как понимаю что, вы реставрируйте только режущие предметы, да?
A bubblegum… interesting
I felt sorry for the knife but drill better
That there is one of those tools that didn't make sense even then.
The end was weird.
Bubble Yum and a corn cob pipe... I'm so confused!

So what did the tomato have to with this?

You should’ve done a before and after how it cuts 😈 just for fun
All the original stuff had gone no point restoring it all the history has gone

Not saying you are not good at what you do you obviously have skills but I’m curious as to why if you look at your thumbnails to your vids practically all have the same coloured rust and patina on them 🤔
that... you... blade steel isn't... that's just not how it works if you want to make a good blade
thats a tobacco cutter not food
Weld job 👎
The audio just isn’t the same 😪
Bubble gum!
Esse é o tal do mula kkkk
Tobacco cutter. Ffs, use a food grade finish on the wood and a food grade paint on the metal. The demonstration was bad as well.

This is very poor, nothing more than a hobby and most definitely not a restoration
