Your video brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for a trip down memory lane. My wife and I visited Cades Cove twice a year for 15 years, until she was unable to travel 3 years ago. She was in a nursing home for two years until her passing in November. We loved visiting, seeing the wildlife, talking with people at the mill and giftshop. Perhaps some time in the future I will be able to bring part of her back there...
Thanks for capturing the woodpecker. It was so pretty. The hawk was interesting to watch. It would take a bite and look around then take another bite and look around again. I loved seeing all of the remembrances at The Pearl Harbor Tree. I remember the first time you showed it. There weren't many remembrances. It's nice to see more people know about it and want to show their respect.

Just got back from the cove. Got there just a few min too late to get in before the barricade went up. Stopped at the plaques and saw a beautiful crescent moon with Venus above an orange twilight sky off the the southwest. Very cold crunchy snow covering on a very cold clear night. Great video!

It's been 30 years since we traveled and camped in Cades Cove....I still remember how awesome it was and you just brought back some sweet memories!! I actually got a rare photo of a baby bear in the top of a tree! Those were the good old days! It was in the Summer of course....I am not as brave as you are...Take Care....Be Safe! New Subscriber!
