    The 35XXH has a ton of potential, but it's not being realized because of the mediocre stock OS. It is still functional and perfectly playable, but damn it if it isn't a letdown to see what this handheld CAN be vs. what is currently is .... I love mine. Best feeling handheld I own, but I almost always go with my standard 35XX because of the OS on the H. If Galric is as awesome as we hope it will be on the H, we might even be looking at a Miyoo mini + killer.

      I completely agree. I try not to be too negative on the channel, but the truth is Anbernic has some fantastic hardware on their hands that is kind of being crippled by sub par software. They need to remedy this ASAP.

    RG35XXX Plus has batocera now! 90% ready to use, much better than Garlic OS for now.

    I know most handhelds don’t run a lot of PlayStation 1-2 and above games very well but I wanted to know your opinion on the best budget handheld? Besides the crazy ones like the Odin and rog and steam deck. Also what kind of mic do you have? Sound quality is amazing

    • @gagemontalvo8731
      @gagemontalvo8731 6 месяцев назад +1

      I’m hoping a budget handheld could possibly run dragon quest 8 but so far I haven’t seen any of the like able to or even has the game available to them

    • @BoKnowsGaming
      @BoKnowsGaming  6 месяцев назад +1

      Most of these handhelds run PlayStation 1 extremely well. This one here will have no problem with PS1. Playstation 2 is quite a jump though. So if you're looking for Dragon Quest 8, on a "budget" system, I would look at the Retroid Pocket 4 Pro. It's $200, but that's probably the cheapest thing that will get you rock solid PS2 performance. Anbernic just announced a new one today called the RG556. It appears to run PS2 well, but there's no price on it yet. I would expect it to release in the next couple of weeks before Chinese New Year. So that's worth checking out as well.
      Also, this is the mic I use, and I really love it: amzn.to/4b3yaM7
      Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!

    Thanks for this quick review , very useful the dimensions comparison... I bought the rg35xx plus literally 1 week before this h came out, and i was actually torbe between a vertical and an horizontal device... I think i would 100% go e with the h jad I know it was coming... Mostly for the rhickness, with the bonus of the sticks 😢 but ok, that's how it works... i will probably end up with an rgb30 just because it does not make much sense to have the same exact device in 2 form factors, I guess, but phisically my favourite I think is rhe h, smallest possible device with a 3.5" screen (excluding any foldable that I am not a fan of)

      I bought the Plus as soon as preorders went up, and I wish I had known this was coming because I like it all the more! Anyway, thanks for watching and for leaving a comment. Happy gaming, friend!

      Got my Plus last week and now seeing these being released. I love the little guy but the joysticks would have been handy with N64 and dream cast games but such as life. I'm enjoying it xD and I hope you are too

      The Plus is still a great device! But you’re right. Some of those higher end games definitely benefit from a joystick. Happy gaming, friend! 🙂

    Have you heard any problems with it turning on? Watched your video and ordered mine last night. Got it today and it’s showing the charging light but after an hour i tried to turn it on but nothing

    • @BoKnowsGaming
      @BoKnowsGaming  6 месяцев назад

      You have to hold the power button down for a couple of seconds. I haven’t heard of anyone having a problem, but there’s always a possibility of a faulty unit.

      If you got it through Amazon Prime you can exchange it for another one. They’ll ship the new one right away at no cost, and you’ll have 30 days to return the broken one.

      @@richwarman3203 One other thought, make sure you're using the provided charging cable to charge it. This doesn't support most smart phone cables and fast chargers. It has to use a 5v usb A to usb C cable.

    Does the psp have need for speed carbon?

    • @BoKnowsGaming

      No, but you can add the game to the PSP folder as long as you have the ROM. You just need a computer and an microSD card reader.

      @@BoKnowsGaming How about the RGB30? I’m considering buying one of the two, I’m leaning towards the rgb30 because of the higher resolution but I’m not aware of what Pokémon games it comes with.

    • @BoKnowsGaming
      @BoKnowsGaming  6 месяцев назад

      It’s pretty much all the same ones, except the DS games are on the RGB30 too. Like Heart Gold. At least they are. On the 128gb version that I bought on Amazon.
      If you’re interested and don’t mind throwing me a bone, I have affiliate links to the RGB30 in the description of my review here: ruclips.net/video/1NEJhhmC0Ow/видео.htmlfeature=shared

    Why can’t these handhelds play Killer Instinct arcade?? The game plays like a slideshow :(

      Just play Killer Instinct Gold from N64! Much better and works perfectly.

      I don't know why some games struggle more than others. I don't have Killer Instinct Arcade or N64 on here so I can't test them. The SNES version runs fine though. 🙂

    • @Agumon5
      @Agumon5 6 месяцев назад +1

      There are always going to be some games that just don't function all that good. Sometimes it's not through any fault of the handheld, it's just the emulators that come with it, or sometimes the game itself that's very difficult to run because of coding or other reasons. For example, There is a reason we don't see a lot of Sega Saturn on these even though technically it's a step down from N64 and significant step down from Dreamcast. It's harder to emulate Saturn properly.

    • @BoKnowsGaming
      @BoKnowsGaming  6 месяцев назад

      That’s true. Some games don’t like to play nice.
