our headteacher would slide in so quietly you hardly noticed and just lurk at the back silently forbidding the teacher from speaking to her and the class would get on with a little more tension than usual and then the headmistress would just glide out smiling enigmatically.. actually i think maybe she was a cat
I actually have a memory of when the headteacher finally left the classroom and the entire class sighed in unison and had a little laugh that we’d all done that at the same time
the way my teachers switch up 😭 it’s like ‘oh hello sir yes yes please do come in, you won’t want to miss this lovely bunch’ ‘are they working well? Funny you ask they never fail to work well!’
Our head teacher came into a drama lesson while guiding a tour, it was a particularly difficult yr 10 group, they were literally sat around talking for the whole lesson (I'm a cover and sometimes you can't force a horse to drink)
Working as a ta, was shouting at a year 8 class because they had ignored their teachers clear instructions twice (just to go back to their original seats as it was almost the end of the lesson) and the headteacher pops his head in Wanted to hide under one of the desks
My English teacher makes us out to be like rlly bad. There was a broken chair in the corner of our classroom at one point and the head of year and headteacher came in to see her and miss said “yeah you see that boy over there, Jayden, yeah he broke that chair miss.”
We call ours the ‘woman in black’ as she always wears some sort of black cardigan. She seems to glide into my media classes and always scares the girl opposite me when she breaks the dress code. I face the door so can warn people when she’s coming 😂
There are only 12 people in my Spanish class, it's so good having a small class. My French class is quite big and messes about a lot, but my history class is one of the worst for the people in it
Everyone just shuts up like no one has the feeling to say or do anything my headteacher walked In on me doing a handstand in class once and that was the most embarrassing thing ever 😂😅
It all depends on your administration! I'm always glad to see the principal walk in or peek in at the door, because if things are going well, I just keep going with class and I'm glad they get to see that, and if things aren't, I get to do the whole "I'm talking to you students but actually I'm saying everything for the benefit of the principal so he knows how horrid you're being" routine. But that's only because I have had principals who I knew had my back. I know there are ones that would elicit this kind of behavior too.
@@sarahpalmer411 they definitely do sometimes, that's why I said it depends on the district and your administration. If you have a good relationship and they know you're doing your best, sometimes they'll hold the students to a higher standard. But absolutely, teachers often get blamed for things that aren't their fault.
My teacher had nothing to do with us because we had finished our topic and their was no point starting a new one bc it was the end of term, and she was playing this game with us where we’d hand her someone’s book and from the handwriting she had to guess whose it was. She was facing the wall to not see us and the headteacher was just staring through the door window at her and she turned around and saw him and he looked so angry. Luckily he came in and half told her off but then said he was just joking so it was all ok but it was scary when he was just staring in 😂 and she could have got in serious trouble 😂
I’m American, but one time when the principal walked into our classroom a kid in my class blatantly admitted that he was doing cheesy personality quizzes instead of working on our English work like we were supposed to. My teacher claims that he almost got her fired for that and said she’d never give us another working block 😭
at my school they'd snitch to the head teacher and so the head teacher would have a go at the whole class and the students who did the homework would be praised
My headteacher doesn’t just interrupt in the middle of classes but she barges in everyone turns around to look and normally we would get a story from her about her life when she was younger
Those 2 kids that did are probably the nerd called Molly or Jess and the second one who did it was the over achiever with the best handwriting but says that it’s horrible and when you see it your jaw drops they are called Lilly,Kayla,Lucy,or Chloe
I hate my headteacher. Because she's bossy, mean, rude, condescending, unfair, petty, infantalizes the kids in our school, she bullies my friends and me, she's always having a go at us, plus she is a karen, and I dislike her intensly.
Our teacher would just throw us under the bus🤣🤣🤣 It would would go something like this: "have they done there homework? No miss no not a single one very disappointed class you need to do better I'm still waiting on that homework. W-what? Yes yes I know I only set the homework yesterday but you need to keep up😐 come on guy I know we can do better than this! Yeah ok bye miss enjoy the rest of your day *closes door* Guys that was very disrespectful VERY disrespectful I was talking to the headteacher and you were mucking about very annoyed with you class 😡
I called the police on my kids’ headteacher. I had her replaced. What a b***h!!! That was one hell of a fight between us. Don’t mess with my angels Mrs Roca… 😁

This is so true and relatable 😂😂

The woman in black😂😂😂😂
Yes English novels 😂😂
this is literally my english teacher
Why is this always so accurate😂😂
"Yes that's the headteacher."
Best bit because none of the kids in class actually see the headteacher anymore 😂
The fact that this happens every single PE lesson bc my head teacher is tom Curry's dad :0
ok but why is this my teacher though-
and he's 47 LMAO
My Niall horan ass mind thought she said “okay slow hands play that now”
The funniest part was when she said “In a class of 20” 😂😂😂😂😂 yeah right.
sounds like you didn't do a really unpopular gcse subject lol

Amazing!
Haha, no! Throw those students under that bus.
Their inability to complete work is not a reflection of our commitment and energies.

@@sarahpalmer411 we also have a lot fewer tools at our disposal than we used to as far as "compelling" students to do work, at least where I am.

The fact that I have a boy named Jackson in my class
I did my homework but in the wrong book because she gave me two and I was called pathetic
