You have to see the movie to get the full understanding of Eddie. He was definitely and opportunist/user.
@Anthony Barkley That’s facts but ain’t no excuse for disloyalty. A true hustler gone make his money work for him no matter what game he in. So I ain’t making excuses for him. Dude was just afraid to stand on his own two, so he shaded Priest.

Eddie was a drug dealer along with the main character Priest. Priest wanted to get out of the game and go legit, but Eddie didn't. Think of the show "Power." Same premise.

In the film, Eddie was Priest's partner. And Eddie was all about the cash and material gain and would not let anyone or anything( including his partner) get in the way.

You study music like I did when I was your age! I remember hearing this soundtrack, then checking out the movie. Great album.
The only flaw in the album for me. A great song like this one was shortened to make room for a couple of instrumental s.
Song shouldn't have been shortened. But instrumentals are important on soundtracks.
