BEHIND THE COMEBACK | WILL ALVES

From setback to comeback. In December 2022, Will Alves went from the highs of playing in the Leicester City first-team with James Maddison to the crushing lows of facing 10 months out in the space of just 24 hours. We opened the door to his ACL rehabilitation process, documenting the highs and lows experienced whilst facing the mental, physical and emotional hurdles of being sidelined from the pitch.
Over the 10 months, 'Behind the Comeback' shows Will at his most vulnerable, as he questioned how he’d return and in what capacity. Will felt passionate about sharing this not only as a reflection of his own mindset and strength, but to show others facing the same worries, anything is possible.
