and funny enough gogeta ssj4 is basically goku ssj4 but dark brown fur blue eyes instead of goku's yellow eyes in ssj4 and bright red hair and the hairstyle is same as goku's as well

Seriously, why do the girls have that in their names? I get it's their DBS designs, but it's not like they're gonna be playable or anything.
...having them playable, especially Chi-Chi and Bulma, would be pretty cool, though. Chi-Chi has her fighting experience, Bulma could just use some kind of exosuit that can fly and shoot ki-like blasts, and Videl can be similar to her Z counterpart, though I guess not as strong as her younger years since she's mellowed out over time.

I think they just want to be specific like they do with the playable roster, and to clue us in on what events happened in their timeline. From what they say it seems like they follow anime canon, filler and movies included (except Z Broly). So they have no clue about GT or the Super manga lore.

Gt versions who havent seen the events of super as beerus didnt wake up and the zeni didnt propose destroying many universes, and they know about Z broly rather than super broly. Maybe if it happens, a manga dlc where we get manga counterparts ,though the manga only has 2 non animated arcs(3 of you include its version of super hero, which i think was better than the movie) so wed have to wait likely a few years

I think it says super so you know where in the timeline they are, plus because videl is a fighter in game and it’s her younger self who clearly wouldn’t know about stuff in super or even GT
