Can you imagine a US doctor not remembering to collect payment? They will forget to give you a prescription or make the follow up appointment but, no ma'am, not the payment. 😂
I'm in the US. My mother's dentist didn't bill her for four visits straight. I was like what kind of mismanagement or witchcraft is that. One day she went in and they were like $700. Cash, check, or charge now. Definitely not how our doctors operate.
1.) I appreciate you putting the price difference on the screen. It helps. 2.) watching your video gave me an entirely different perspective on Mexico. I never thought the groceries would be so much money! Aren't wages in Mexico much lower than the states ?
Wages are lower in Mexico than in the US. However there less expensive ways to shop if you're patient. Local tiendas and mercados are usually for less.
I love this!!! So true about the groceries. We just left LA Comer and spent just over $4000 MXN pesos, which was about $250 USD total for our groceries.
I am watching you for the first time. My dream is to move to SMA next year. I can't believe how expensive things are in that grocery store. I won't be shopping there. Why don't you go somewhere else to do your shopping? Anyway, if you continue to make videos, I'll be watching cause, like I said, I'm thinking of moving there!
New subbie here. Interesting stuff. I was thinking about moving to Mexico. I don't think it's going to happen anytime soon. I'm 58 and have moved into caregiving, but prior to Covid it was my goal. Maybe when I retire.
Why didn’t you shop at Soriana? I haven’t been to the one in San Miguel de Allende, but I shop there in Chapala for most of my food and household goods. Much less expensive. I’m going to be in San Miguel soon, and I’m wondering why you went to La Comer when you were so close to Soriana.
I watched this and had to laugh ive lived here all my life in Clarksville a placed rated one of the best cities to Moved to in the nation because of growth for the rate of people moving from those great cities we are close to Vanderbilt (medical school) Meharry and Fisk University, not all of our state is backwards. Yes our weather is ever changing. If we are so dangerous abd scary tell the new comers please go back to your more uppity states. Why are those scary cats moving here?

Right?! Things that would never happen in the states. 🤣

Thanks for watching! LA Comer always finds a way to empty our wallets, but at least we're stocked up on groceries now.
I have La Comer deliver and I shop online there.

San Miguel de Allende is really beautiful but you're right, it's definitely more expensive than other places in Mexico.

I do shop there sometimes. Just not this day. I haven't found that it's cheaper but I need to do a serious price compare.
Thnk you for sharing
