- Why was the name Diablo so hard to remember? Today we checkout a band called Diablo and their new single "The Stranger" I had never heard the band Diablo before today, but we knew there had to be a Diablo band out there somewhere right? So let's checkout The Stranger from Diablo!
Diablo is a Finnish melodic death metal band, formed in 1995 as Diablo Brothers. The band cite Testament, Slayer, Metallica, Megadeth, Opeth, Death, and Meshuggah as influences, but influence from several Gothenburg bands, including Dark Tranquillity, Hypocrisy, and In Flames, is also evident in their music.

Really good band! Eternium is my favorite album. Can't go wrong with any song from that one.
With Diablo you can't go wrong, picking every album gives you banger songs on and on. My journey with these preachers starter at 2002, and I consider them one of the Best bands coming from this cold country. That says something. Try Eternium, Mimic47 and start by listening the first 5 songs from renaissance. In a row. And then repeat. The new album competes with Amorphis as the most expected album of 2022. And that pic is taken in the archipelago of Bothnic gulf, not far from Kalajoki. Band also has launched a consept of Heavy-Sauna, a sauna where's boiling hot and only heavy metal is allowed from the speakers. To go with that, they have a killer beer crafted, corium Black Stout. Alexi Laiho stated their drummer as one best in business and considered a shame that diablo didn't grow into a stadium-size Band.
This Diablo (which is by far the best band ever) is named after the gang in TV-serie ”Hill Street Blues”

Not a bad tune. Really liked the musicality and plus on vocals being melodic instead of growly. I could play the video game Diablo and listen to Diablo at the same time and be ok with that.
I'm so glad they made a comeback! They used to be one of the coolest bands.I recommend songs like Grace under pressure, The preache and Icaros from this band.

Diablo has been on my radar since the album Icaros came out in 2008. SO of course I had to get the other albums. Super stocked for the new album to drop in a few weeks.

I ques that you can't see the older albums, due to their old record label. They actually started in 90s and they had a long hiatus recently. If you can get your hands on their older stuff you really should check them. Aand Kiuas is the rock filled "fireplace" you use in Sauna. Also a top tier band. 😁
Thats my favorite song from the Diablo and your reactions were exactly the same as mine when I first heard this song. And if that was nice, you should check out "Break of dusk", also a not very known finnish band.. Deep, heavy and sad just like us finns like it. And atleast the name is not that general!
Horns for the mention of Bartles & Jaymes wine coolers🤘...there's a total throwback to mid-80's clubbing days before I discovered cocktails proper, darling. 🥃 (How many times did I have to deal with bartenders who were like, "If it's not in a bottle, I can't do it." 😹) Is there supposed to be an illusion of a little devil face in that ice cube - and is that what it is, an ice cube?? - or am I having a psych test moment?? The heavy bass riff I loved; everything else, I was kind of like, "Meh." I would have to hear something else by them then possibly revisit this for a second assessment....
Grace under pressure, The preacher and Lovedivided are some great tracks with the band
