You are not forced to accept that awful, horrible, disgusting and so very disappointing final movie as part of the canon and the official end of _Timeless_ ! Pretend it didn't happen at all and write your own version - rewrite history! 😉
Lucy would be so much happier with Flynn than with that boring, selfish, annoying Wyatt!!! She and Flynn have much more in common than she and Wyatt! (For example: both of them are smarter, more well-read and way more intelligent than ordinary people - and than Wyatt. 😈) No matter what anybody (including the crazy, stupid scriptwriters) says, Lucy and Flynn belong together. ❤ So I simply ignore and reject the existence of that awful, horrible, disgusting and disappointing final movie (I'd rather call it a crazy, illogical, totally out-of-character fanfiction instead of a real and normal ending) and pretend it never happened. 😉
It‘s my wedding song… and my favorit couple of all time. My heart broke watching the last christmas episode. So, I have to cry again, while watching this… 😭

Oh, you're very welcome!! ^_^ And it just occurred to me that Iris was the name of Garcia's daughter who was murdered, so the song truly suits him so well in every way! It's like a theme song in the way it captures his heartbreak and his blossoming romance with Lucy. I'm so glad that he was never truly the bad guy because he and his relationship with Lucy are so fascinating. I'll go check out your new video!! ^_^
The fact that the song name is "Iris" and it is also his daughter's name, is precisely why I chose to do this video first. I love how he was always one of the good guys, even from the very beginning (questionable actions, but by a man who is hell bent on getting the job done). I love that his history with the original Time Team is so complicated, I love complex characters, and it just adds to the depth of his relationship to Lucy. I truly hope that Timeless gets renewed and we get to continue to see their relationship flesh itself out.
