When I send the email to myself that’s supposed to have the verification code i get the email but the verification code isn’t anywhere in it
Edit: Just try it a few times and it'll work eventually

No, it will not be gone. Make sure before creating new account, connect your old account first to Supercell so that you can sign in to it anytime.
