    Absolutely brilliant. I’ve been assigned this piece to transpose to the electric bass and I’ve been having trouble making it “feel” right. This breakdown was exactly the lecture I needed to listen to. Beautiful playing, Łukasz.

    I tried playing Boureé once. Let me tell you, 3 months of practice got me nowhere near that level. Boureé is not the most technically difficult movement, but it is so hard to bring out its potential.

    After the initial alteration in the player's style, Zander could have let him just play the rest of the piece with fewer interruptions as he'd got it, truly got it already. Would have been more enjoyable to listen to the playing which is absolutely exquisite. He obviously loves Bach! But Zander is there as a mentor, so... OK.

    • @mellocello187
      @mellocello187 3 года назад

      Yes, I wish he would have just explained the difference between the styles and let the wonderful cellist go through and figure it out, then go through once more polished. The interruptions drove me crazy especially toward the end. If you tell someone to play it through, let them play it through.
