not sure if you've ever heard of this trick before, but if a horse is afraid of objects its easier for them to get used to them if they follow them....eg the saddle pad have Brooke flap it around as you are walking with your back to the horse walking away....gradually the horse gets closer and closer to the scary object
Liked number 332, shared and commenting here... Getting to watch this as long as the power is on during this cyclone here in BC. Hugs and everyone be safe, but I'm from Esquimalt
... also to help with thrush in babies.... humans use Gentian Violet. It stains everything purple, but it works like a hot damn... I am not a vet, but maybie check it out? Hugs
Pauly the horse whisperer he is an amazing ferrier he gives love to every horse ❤ he has the patience of a saint or an angel 😇we love the work you all do love to you all ❤ from New York City!!!
Looking at all that is done for this horse it is just amazing!! I see how still It stands. It really knows that you are actually helping it. I remember when this horse came in and the discussion on how you were going to treat this. You are actually doing it!! You guys are absolutely amazing!🤗☀️🌻🌹🤙🏻❤️
I love the cat and mouse game!! Too funny! Brook definitely has a way with the horses!! The way she takes her time with Mondo was very sweet. Yay!! Pauly is back!! I’ve missed him!! The knowledge he brings to the table is amazing!!!! I can’t imagine the pain he has at the end of the day, then he starts over again the next day. It hurts my back and legs just watching what he goes through. Love his sweatshirt. Sundance is going to make someone very happy one day. It breaks my heart to think about the mistreatment some of these horses went through before they came to you. They finally have someone that cares about how they’re treated now!!!!! Poor Lurch. It makes you wonder what he was put through to have the shoes put on. Wednesday was such a good girl!! Thanks for another GREAT episode!! I look forward to seeing them every week. 💛🧡
Pauly is a jewel among ferriers. You're all so lucky to have him. All of you are so patient with these amazing horses, giving that second chance that they all deserve. Thank you for all you do.
You all are just amazing at your own individual jobs around there!!!! Brooke never ceases to amaze me with how incredible she is with each horse when it comes to training/working with them!!!! And then Pauly has got to be one of my favorites!!! His patience and dedication to each horse is just phenomenal!!! 🫶🏼🐴🐎🫏
❤ I love you all. Watching from Sunny Southwest ,Fl. Pauly and the staff do a wonderful job ! I wish there were video's everyday, I would never get sick of watching.
I look forward to all your videos. You are so amazing to see the care and love you all give to these forgotten beauties! Love what you are doing for them giving them a new life to live without pain. Your Ferrier is a great guy with all his knowledge a patience!
I hate to see that poor horse hurt.. That is so sad. Sad that when things got rough he was just returned. If you can't provide the proper care for unseen injuries you should not have a horse. Thank you to the awesome team for caring for these sweet babies❤
A very easy way to get a horse comfortable with something is have yourself or someone else carry it and follow them with the horse! It really builds their confidence!❤
You guys do such a great job, my heart always cries when I see the cut off tails. Someone loved them and then let them go to slaughter, just breaks my heart. SO excited to see the horses from Duluth!
Were you guys pulling a prank on poor Pauly with all those naughty horses that he was trying to do their hooves! He must go home and have the biggest nap.🤩🤩👏👏🇦🇺🇦🇺
Forgot to add the clip that explains that. We are able to pick up most of the feet on those horses. But, obviously they are nervous with others. So, each time Pauly is out, we bring them in just so they get to know him a bit and become less of a stranger/threat to them.
I don’t know if this helps but Warwick Schiller has some excellent how to catch a horse videos. I saw him catch and halter a pony at MN horse expo in an hour of work. Instead of using pressure and release, you use a technique that shows them you are aware of their discomfort and go back to their comfort zone. After a short time you are able to engage closer to them and finally able to draw them to you.
I believe Pauly has had enough for the day. It's Miller time. Work the feet everyday and the horses get better real fast. I know that your rescue knows this, it helps to get a reminder. 😊
Nooooo, the video ended before we got to meet the newest horses! 😢 Oh well, we will have to try and survive until the next one! Love you all att Pony Tales! ❤❤❤🇸🇪
I enjoy your videos very much! But I spend too much time on RUclips. Do what works for you and the horses. I learned so much from your videos. Thank you so much!
Just love how Brook works.... easy and carefuly and let the horse get used to her/him. I have a question... what or wy has the horse that Pauly did (one of them) have that white lines on her frontlegs? I hope Pauly dont get hurt. He has a full job whit those horses. Glad to see the horses come in as surrenders. You do an awesom job at Pony tails.
Might I suggest diapers for the wound treatment. You can lay the plastic wrap inside it then put the whole thing on and maybe one big polo wrap instead of like 5. We used that on one of our horses and even though we didn't need the plastic wrap it worked wonders on the leg area (about the same spot yo have)!
Do you buy sedation by the gallon be cause you sure need it for Paulie😅 Love your videos. The light on my week. Keep up the great work. Annie from Alaska❤❤🎉🎉😊😊
Hey guys Sundance is so cute. But he needs slot work. And can't believe how Shady has changed. Its like I didn't recognize him at all guys. And you guys got in some pretty sorenders in too. All my 💕🥰❤️🤗💖 to all you guys.
There is a regional airport about 15 miles south of us. We are also within 90 miles of the Minneapolis/St. Paul airport. Plus the people who have their own planes that like to fly around the countryside. So, yes, lots of planes at times. Lol
Question ❓ Hey Pauly Most farriers I have seen work, are nips of the end of nails, before removing the shoes.. you doesn't seem to do that.. is there any reason why??? And they are also niip of most of the nail, One by one When they are shoeing the house.. l can see you wait to all mails are in place.. it seems kind of dangerous... Is there a reason why you choose to do so??
I noticed all your people go at the horses face first, why is that? We were always trained to address a new horse or a afraid horse with our bodies sideways. Just making a observation
You are the most compassionate people.....have been watching for years and you never cease to amaze me. So much kindness here. Love you all.
What I absolutely love the most about Pauly, is that he never hits the horses, no matter how bad they behave.
Thank you for the bandage demo .I've never seen a wound treatment like that before

So many young ones, Paulie really got his work cut out for him this time XD
You care so much for each and every horse, and take such amazing care of them!!
Oh my lands! Poor Pauly he had areal rough day! You are so blessed to have him, not many farriers would take in such a job!
Paul has the patience of a saint! He is not just a farrier but a horse whisperer, too!
I have never seen a mouse do that before😂😂😂. He says wait, lets be friends😂😂😂
Pauly the horse whisperer he is an amazing ferrier he gives love to every horse ❤ he has the patience of a saint or an angel 😇we love the work you all do love to you all ❤ from New York City!!!
Great work as always (and I love Pauly’s sweatshirt with the references to Lonesome Dove!!!)

You’re making excellent progress with winkies wound. Well done 👏🏼👏🏼💜
So much respect for Pauly
You deserve much more followers ❤❤❤

What a GREAT patient Winky!!
I love the Addams family names 🤩
You guys are doing such a great job and you are such an inspiration 🙏🏼💖
Great video as always. 🎉
13:07 what a cute dappled Lil pony Sundance is!
He would/could make some little cowboy/cowgirl's decade!

Nice to see Shady, haven’t seen him for a while! 😍😍😍🇸🇪
Congrats Pugsley, you survived a farrier visit! Good job with him Pauly, he wasn't sure but you managed him well 💜
❤ I love you all. Watching from Sunny Southwest ,Fl. Pauly and the staff do a wonderful job ! I wish there were video's everyday, I would never get sick of watching.
I love watching Paulie work. I wish he was my farrier. So hard to find a good one with knowledge working with TW here in Northeast PA
Moose new home new life! Mike, it’s a brand new life!
I look forward to all your videos. You are so amazing to see the care and love you all give to these forgotten beauties! Love what you are doing for them giving them a new life to live without pain. Your Ferrier is a great guy with all his knowledge a patience!
Thank you so much!
You girls are amazing with the excellent care you give these horses. I just love you all, the vets and of course Pauly. My favorite rescue.❤🙏
Thank you so much!

A lot of farriers have YT channels. Paulie has the personality and character to be very successful!
We agree! Unfortunately he is too busy. So we try to help him out here! If you want to see more Pauly content, give us some ideas!
@@PonyTalesRefuge perhaps P could explain what he sees more in depth.
Possibly a montage of some of the wildest moments.
If Pauly could show the different types of shoes, and explain the differences as w as why they are chosen, would be very educational.
Were you guys pulling a prank on poor Pauly with all those naughty horses that he was trying to do their hooves! He must go home and have the biggest nap.🤩🤩👏👏🇦🇺🇦🇺

I love the minimal editing and filters used on these videos, just plain footage of what owning horses can be like. Always so calming to watch💙
I bet Paulie Goes home with bruised thighs. Every time he goes to work with you guys!🤣❤❤❤🙌🏻
As always enjoying the videos. Keep up the great work!!
Props to Pauley! These babies need to treat him better!
Great mix of a program thank you❤
Glad you like it!

Great work that Pauly does but it is very hard work.
That is why many farriers retire when they are 55 years old.
❤Great to see you all. I wish there was a video everyday.
I enjoy your videos very much! But I spend too much time on RUclips. Do what works for you and the horses. I learned so much from your videos. Thank you so much!
Amazing videos for someone who didn’t study in video making, they are great!

Sounds like it will also make it much quicker and easier for Rae to do. Prayers that your horse has a full and speedy recovery too ❤🙏
I’ve used maxi pads in a similar manner to treat pastern wounds. Their size and flexibility is perfect.
Do you buy sedation by the gallon be cause you sure need it for Paulie😅 Love your videos. The light on my week. Keep up the great work. Annie from Alaska❤❤🎉🎉😊😊
Is Sundance going to be another Pauly adoption? Just imagine him calming down and becoming a great pony for his kids. How awesome would that be 😉
I know they have cow hoof trimming shoots. Do they have horse hoove trimming shoots? I mean ive seen gigantic bulls in those things. Paulie needs one!
They do.
❤❤❤❤❤
Great video thanks for sharing.
Optimistic
Hey guys Sundance is so cute. But he needs slot work. And can't believe how Shady has changed. Its like I didn't recognize him at all guys. And you guys got in some pretty sorenders in too. All my 💕🥰❤️🤗💖 to all you guys.
So when Pauline walks in do you given him the Alieve then, or when he leaves?
Haha! He's usually packing his own. Lol
Green clay wirks realy well on woonds
Well doc....thats my winter weight fat❤❤❤
Is PT close to an airport? Seems like there are always planes flying over. Not a problem, I am just curious.

More details on Pauly’s way of trimming!
I thought Little Foot was adopted.
Nope! He is still here :)
I was wondering what happened to Shady. Still shady, lol.
Butters is a very talented rodent catcher. That was one feisty mouse that she found!
I don’t recall seeing Garfield recently. Is he still around?
He comes and goes!
At what point does a sorrel with a flaxen mane and tail (like a Belgian) become a palomino?
Sleeping meds anyone????
Pauly have a new technique somewhat?
Y'all been busy!
Brook needs to give some release off pressure with that pony. I just saw constant pressure with no release
I noticed all your people go at the horses face first, why is that? We were always trained to address a new horse or a afraid horse with our bodies sideways. Just making a observation
that heavy breathing tho......maybe back the mic off a bit?
Oooh! A cliffhanger! 🫣
Wondering why baby drafts with no obvious problem would be sent off to auction?
