The Genkidama in GT is not just the best looking, but the most satisfying in the series. It finally symbolizes Son Goku as the true hero of Earth, using the energy from those he helped across the universe. What a great ending
It also implies that when goku tossed this, He was most likely dead. It is said that the difference between life and dead became foggy because of the effects of the dragons.
This is probably the best finishing move imo. Both the buildup, music, and the theming behind it. Utilizing the well-wishes, love and hope of an entire universe in order to vanquish evil.
This moment when vegeta laughs, fall unconsious and gokus down-beaten head rises up once again for the last time and just said his last epic words in this battle.
Absolute masterpiece. This is truly the most uplifting song I have ever heard. That marching beat towards victory. A final triumph indeed! Thank you for finally ripping a clean version and master Tokunaga for creating this godlike track.
Watch it, even just by curiosity, GT is far to be perfect but it has good thematics, the Baby arc is excellent and has what is, in my opinion, the best transformation of Dragon Ball.

Forgive me as I can't speak Japanese, so I am relying on Google Translate here. Yes we do call it "Spirit Bomb", as that is what the English dub calls it, but fans often use "Genkidama" as well.

Spirit bomb is the literal translation of Genkidama, 元気 in English is spirit while 玉 in English is ball but in this case, it is bomb but in Chinese it is called 元气弹 where弾replaces玉. The English dub of anime tends to translate everything in Japanese to English but if the thing sounds cooler in Japanese(like Kamehamehaかめはめ波) or weird in English(like 魔閃光 in English is called Demon's Flash of Light) they will leave it untranslated. If the attack sounds weird in both Japanese and English translated during the dubbing, they will create a name that has the same or close to the amount of syllables as the Japanese version like 魔貫光殺砲(in English, it is "Demon's Penetrating Light Killing Gun) is the Japanese version while Special Beam Cannon is the English but both have the same number of syllables. Same goes for 気円斬(3 syllables) and Destructo Disc(4 syllables)

@@RockmanX02 No, because the Japanese Broadcast audio is 2.0 stereo, while the Funimation DVDs have 5.1 audio. Basically this means that when you open up the Funimation version in audacity, the music is already separated from the vocals for the most part. Occasionally, there are places where sound effects and vocals do leak in which is what I try to remove when I make these videos. This is still way better than ripping the original Japanese because all of the vocals and sfx are still intact in that dub, unlike the English version where they are usually separate.

I think Goku Genkidama to Kid Buu is a strong contender for the best Genkidama of the whole series, but i also like this one

U should do menza rips more rather then original soundtrack
Just because I have more Tokunaga rips done doesn't mean that I don't intend to do more Menza ones, just be patient.
Menza and tokunaga are both super good but Tokunaga>Menza ost.
Every song in this show is just a version of Dan Dan.
