- Relatively clean rip of the unreleased Tokunaga track that plays throughout Dragon Ball GT, most notably in episode 63 when Goku powers up the Universal Spirit Bomb against Omega Shenron.

Background:
Boy was this one a pain. I spent the batter half of two weeks doing this, and this is the best I could do. It was impossible for me to completely remove everything, but at least the music is mostly intact. It was yet another combination of using Spleeter and ISSE, this time with a few notable differences. First of all, most of the audio used here was taken from the version put together in the description of this video: • Dragon Ball GT: Comple... Give them credit for putting most of it together. The parts at 1:28-1:46 and 2:19-2:56 were added in by me for editing purposes, with the former using audio from episode 63 instead of episode 33 as the audio had less sound effects and vocals to remove. Due to the way that Funimation mixed in Goku's voice, I had to split the stereo channel down to mono and had to edit each of them individually because Spleeter's AI wasn't able to pick up the vocals properly in stereo form. That's probably why it sounds a little different in each ear if you're using headphones, this was unavoidable as removing this excess audio would damage the track. The sound effects and the Oozaru roar at 2:19-2:29 were pretty difficult and it came at the cost of some of the music being lost, but I retained as much as possible. The rest of the changes are pretty minor. There used to be a large clicking sound at 1:07 that I was able to remove by using audio from episode 63. The weird sound at 1:13, which I always thought was a voice, is actually part of the track. I searched all of the scenes where it plays and the sound is always present, so I left it in. I did remove a little bit of it as I felt it was too loud but not much. Lastly, I removed a sound effect at 1:59. It was barely noticeable before, but since it was easy to remove I did it anyway. Something else that I had to do was alter the volume of areas that I edited to make it more consistent across the whole track, since some parts were mixed in differently in the actual episodes. Overall this track was by far the hardest one I've done, as the way that the music was set up made it impossible to use some of the tricks that I used in my previous videos, but at least it's done. With this finished that means that all of the Tokunaga tracks have now finally been ripped completely! Hope you all enjoy!

The Genkidama in GT is not just the best looking, but the most satisfying in the series. It finally symbolizes Son Goku as the true hero of Earth, using the energy from those he helped across the universe. What a great ending
I think Goku Genkidama to Kid Buu is a strong contender for the best Genkidama of the whole series, but i also like this one

This is probably the best finishing move imo. Both the buildup, music, and the theming behind it. Utilizing the well-wishes, love and hope of an entire universe in order to vanquish evil.

Watch it, even just by curiosity, GT is far to be perfect but it has good thematics, the Baby arc is excellent and has what is, in my opinion, the best transformation of Dragon Ball.

Even though I’ve heard how much GT is bad. I’m still fascinated by it and think it is a fun watch. Even though things don’t make sense than they should it’s just best to ignore them and fill in plot holes with facts. Like the five year time skip when it’s supposed to be ten (right or is it the opposite way around?)

Because that melody is just too good and the countless arrangements and variations are a testament to its quality.

Spirit bomb is the literal translation of Genkidama, 元気 in English is spirit while 玉 in English is ball but in this case, it is bomb but in Chinese it is called 元气弹 where弾replaces玉. The English dub of anime tends to translate everything in Japanese to English but if the thing sounds cooler in Japanese(like Kamehamehaかめはめ波) or weird in English(like 魔閃光 in English is called Demon's Flash of Light) they will leave it untranslated. If the attack sounds weird in both Japanese and English translated during the dubbing, they will create a name that has the same or close to the amount of syllables as the Japanese version like 魔貫光殺砲(in English, it is "Demon's Penetrating Light Killing Gun) is the Japanese version while Special Beam Cannon is the English but both have the same number of syllables. Same goes for 気円斬(3 syllables) and Destructo Disc(4 syllables)

I can't because the methods used to rip GT tracks work exclusively with the audio released on the Funimation DVDs.

@@RockmanX-io2dr No, because the Japanese Broadcast audio is 2.0 stereo, while the Funimation DVDs have 5.1 audio. Basically this means that when you open up the Funimation version in audacity, the music is already separated from the vocals for the most part. Occasionally, there are places where sound effects and vocals do leak in which is what I try to remove when I make these videos. This is still way better than ripping the original Japanese because all of the vocals and sfx are still intact in that dub, unlike the English version where they are usually separate.
