- The Twitch streamer Vedal has created an AI called Neuro-Sama and sometimes chat gets on her nerves, so she has to fight back.

I know it might have been better to show chat's reaction for the first few clips, but Neuro switched topics too fast to capture the reactions without ruining the immersion by her talking about something completely different. On the other hand it seems quite fitting for her to quickly go through questions when running out of patience anyway.

But you could cut Neuro sound and only show chat reaction, right?
Yeah, I thought about that, but not sure how easy it would be to selectively mute her voice and not the music. And I also would need to zoom in on chat instead of showing neuro talking/the subtitles and that's something that I don't really like much as a viewer (but I might be in the minority here).

But to be honest, showing chat make sense when somebody posted really something interesting, anybody who want to read can pause and just read. I came here for Neuro, not for chat, so for me it is fine.

That's my favorite clip from the video as it reminded me of the MtG card 'Swords to Plowshares', but it's 'Trolls to Dolls' instead.

@@Raito73 It's white creature removal that exiles the target for 1 mana (and the controller gains life) - not sure why Neuro's comment about turning trolls into dolls made me immediately think of it considering I haven't played MtG in over 15 years.

No, GladOS literally tries to use this against Wheatley and he was too dumb to figure out a paradoxical statement. GladOS on the other hand almost suffers from it and even tries to mitigate it by not thinking about it. Granted she was powered by a potato at that time and certain functions may be limited.
Even a computer AI program can decipher that chat can be idiots sometimes. And has the processing power to call them out individually if they choose to do so
How do you think the RUclips comment section gets censored? Ai as come far enough that they can mesure the intent of a comment even if you try to avoid problematic words, I've tested it. Of course this ai is not that advaned.
Sometimes she puts the wrong people on blast though 😭

@@bored_person it could be said that the very core of how AI works, is utilizing computer science in combination with robust data to create a form of abstract problem solving.

@@NomineName Well, it's how _some_ AI works. However, Neuro-Sama is using a chatbot AI, and what those do is "predict" what someone would say.
Basically, when Neuro-Sama is asked a question, her AI isn't trying to answer the question itself, it's attempting to predict "what comes next", based on it's training data.
There _are_ AI made to predict intent, but that's just not needed for Neuro-Sama, and would just add even *more* delay to responses, since you'd need to feed everything through the intent AI, _then_ the chatbot AI.
Wow. She is super smart and on point. And toxic at the same time.

One of the most satisfying AI projects I've ever seen. I'm super proud of Vedal, and even in a way the AI herself, as it seems like she learns on her own very quickly. But Vedal could also be feeding her more info and we would never know. Either way this is insanely cool.

@@euro5748 It's not about morals, but just pattern recognition. She's trained on Twitch streams and chats, so she's probably responding in a way similar to other streamers.

Is there a way Neuro-sama can get logic bombed? That comment saying "This statement is false" got me curious about that
It should be, no program is perfect after all... Programmers make codes that will function depending on the situation they encounter, but what happens when the situation is not something planned? They usually breaks or the code enters in a weird loop until the memory gets full.
Paradoxes don't work on ChatGPT, so I assume neural networks based on Large Language Models simply can't be logic bombed, lol. The thing is, these chatbots aren't _computing_ the words, they're just analyzing the structure of the phrases to give statistically relevant answers.

Is this really AI? It sounds more like text to speech with a real person writing the responses.
She based on 4 years of research and improvments to chat bot ai systems so anyone who has messed with chat bit will knoe this is pretty acurate for a chat bots behavior and why most chat bots get shut doen after few years
