The arrangement by Mike Johnson, Dirk and others musicians is so tasteful, it creates the perfect foundation for Con Hunley to do his thing and boy does he. Incredible. What a performance and powerful camerawork and editing too. Now that's country!
Most all of them used to do that....guess that is why they call it beer drinking music, but, you are right....very few of them have carried the twang. That is why I love Con....he, in my opinion, has ever done a bad job on any song.
