I've finally decided to put my crown on. I'm not even close too a good Muslim and I thought I didn't deserve a hijab. I Don't have a support from my family, and I'm scared of things like heat, and not having enough clothes. But I will start and I believe Allah will make it easy. ♥️

wow mental illness has over taken the brains and soul.
speaking about Hijab rather than becoming a great " I am" the soul has become a joke.
      to the human race.

Hijab is so important. It is an order from Allah! It is a major sin not to wear the hijab! As a lot of women dont cover their awra today the acholars who fear Allah the most talk about it. I talk about it as well as long as I live. Whoever wants to believe let him believe. Whoever wants to disbelieve let him do so. He will not harm anyone but himself. The sheikh is doing his job that Allah comanded him to. Is conveying the message. He has all to gain. Whether you talk bad about him or not this will just increase his reward with Allah! People repent before it's too late!

The rude comments are like the wings of a mosquito in the weight of goodness that this video has achieved if even one girl dons the hijab in a beautiful and dignified manner that angers the disbelievers to the point that they watch our beautiful lectures only to spread their hate so MAY ALLAH GUIDE YOU TO THE CORRECT PATH...

This past month has been full of thought about wearing a hijab. I have been receiving lectures from my hijabi friends, asking ukhtis about their experience, and all of it has driven me further into placing a hijab on my head. But this is by far the biggest push I have received. It made me want to go and grab my abayya and scarf and wear it the next time I step foot out of the house. Mash'Allah, and Insha'Allah I will soon say the beautiful words too: "Samirna Wa'Atarna".

Thank you Ladymstii! No religion or believe has ever valued & respected women more than Islam. I am proud being a muslima in this life and next life! Unfortunately, I do not wear a hijab and to be honest the only thing that keeps me away from doing that is the huge amount of racists out there who keep throwing words at you or refuse to give you a job simply because I wore a hijab but I am now thinking seriously about it and found this video inspiring! And these insults wouldn't do anything but

Mashallah this sheikh is just amazing, I still remember the talk he gave the sisters in Dunedin, afterwards I never felt so proud to be a Muslim alahamdiallah. Sometimes its hard to wear the hijab when you live in a place where there are not many muslims. I can't believe I use to not wear the hijab because I thought I would not get a job lol. Cause who could stop you when you have allah on your side.

Right on, I agree with you
I wear the hijab but I am tired of seeing women being reminded of their duties while men are not: they wear tight/low rise jeans that show their underwear's when hey bow during prayer at the mosque, they look at women freely, and they act differently when interacting with non-muslim women...
I've had enough of the double-standard, I'm tired of it and it's just pushing me away form mosques and the muslim community.

because the male and female anatomy is different. So of course the areas that we cover would be the same. Also even though both men and women have the same hair growing out of our head, society & human nature view it differently. For example what guy doesn't like a girl with long, full/silky hair. But females don't pay as much attention to a guys hair compared to other things. The whole idea of modesty to cover up we as human lust for.
Hope I explained it well enough :)

This is how 'Umar ibn al Khattab and his business partner learned matters, as one would go on one day, and the other would go on the next day, and they would relate what they heard and saw and learned. The Qur'aan is the Speech of Allaah ta'alaa, and 'Ilm. The Sunnah is the Hikmah, and we learn and follow both.

I agree with you. Men should lower there gaze and cover their awra at all times, but I think its fair to say that there are lot of believing women who simply do not wear the hijab and that is who the sheikh is addressing. And assuming you are a believer, why would you be tired of "Arabs" advocating the obedience of the commandment of Allah which is that women should maintain hijab? Have you forgotten the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was an Arab?

With all due respect sister, I think its wrong when a brother, like sheikh shady, gives the sisters sincere advice to then say: but what about the brothers?
Yes I agree that the men must also be modest and cover their awra all the time, but when a brother gives advice we should all accept it. Inshallah the brother will in the future deliver a talk on modesty for men.

Judge for yourselves: is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head unveiled? Does not nature itself teach you that if a man wears long hair, it is degrading to him, but if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For her hair is given to her for a covering. But if anyone is disposed to be contentious- we have no such custom, nor do the churches of God. (1 Corinthians 11:2-16)

  • @muslimawithamind2886
    @muslimawithamind2886 7 лет назад +1

I really like Sheikh Shady, but he is wrong in the interpretation and he has extremely exaggerated the verse 24:31. He insists that women have no choice and his non-stop bullying of non-hijabi women is quite excessive. These women are not children, do not scold and lecture them as such. When are these male clerics going to learn how to respect women and their decision regardless? Women can read the same verse in the Quran and know that the khimar is not hijab. Also, it does not specifically say to cover the head but the bosom (Jayoobihum)....not the neck like what he incorrectly stated. Also, he says that the adornment is the woman's body parts. He did not complete this verse because at the end of it, it clearly says, "And let them not stamp their feet to make known what they conceal of their adornment." Obviously, the only adornments that would make noise while stamping your feet would be jewelry or accessories!!! This is what is clear.
His approach is harsh. Sadly, this is the style taken by sheikhs and imams in the 100's of years since the revelation of Islam to get people not to question or to critically think about it and just accept what they are saying as truth. The guilt trip they impose is too heavy and paralyzes any kind of thought . Please people, question everything with your God given brain. ruclips.net/video/_J5bDhMP9lQ/видео.html

His guilt tripping women is out of control! Talking about cursing women who don't wear hijab and that they will go to hell for not wearing it. He is fear mongering with all this craziness! He's way too extreme!

I am not a hijabi, but now I realize that I csn die any moment and cannot postpone wearing it. Because if I die I will be in hell for not covering myslef eventhough I acted modestly.

Are you a Muslim? If yes, then fear Allah for slandering a whole race of people. Moreover, have you forgotten that Muhammad (SAW) was an Arab and his companions (may ALLAH be pleased with them)? May Allah guide.

Will u answer this when u will be stand in front of Allah Swt in the day of judgment?
Wearing hijab is an order from Allah and the purpose is to protect the dignity and the right of a woman.

@Factszz , please read the Qur'aan again. The words say, in what is in English, to tell the women to let down their head coverings.
Prior to this, the women wore head coverings, but they tied them in such a way that their breasts were exposed, not covered in a way that promotes modesty and differentiated from the Jews and the Christians.
If you are Muslim, then you read the ahadeeth also, and you know the actions of the women when the verses of hijaab were revealed. Allaah yahaidik.

@vanillamomentum the cleverest people are mostly atheist. they believe this because it the most logical theory. it is the theory with the most facts - unlike religion which has none. also, more and more people are becoming atheist - because religion is an outdated hypothesis. please tell me why you believe in it, because i cannot see why people are letting themselves be conned.

@Yeppox you wrote me 3 paragraphs to argue with. Einstien and Newton were both athiests. most wars have been influenced by religion, e.g. you may be familiar with the crusades? also, if you werent brought up to be religious, would you believe in Islam? i highly doubt it. i am agianst the war in Iraq, a common belief by most British and American people. lets not forget that 9/11 came before the invasion of Iraq. many muslims believe in changing peoples religious views.

Speaking Arabic has nothing to do with an understanding of you are reading, as people choose to twist and turn to suit themselves as you are obviously doing so. Exactly the way you thought you had the right to call it this Sheik, when he has the Islamic knowledge and understanding to make speeches. For me to tell you correct information does not make me a deity astaghfirullah, this is straight from the Quran and the Sunnah. Please read the Quran sister there is a whole Surrah on the Hijab.

Don't be mad my friend, patience is a virtue. It's okay if big words scare you and intelligence is a rare thing to come by. Your insults and your snarky comments only hurt you in the end. I've enjoyed trying to be patient with you and helping you understand, but I'd rather talk to people who are willing to understand not with irrational simple minded people like you fellow LowD9mil... May Allah forgive for all the hurt you have caused. Peace.

Do you not have access to a dictionary? I mean seriously.. SERIOUSLY!? If you are going to argue about Islam, then my friend go read the WHOLE QURAN. Not what the internet says or what other Muslims you have met says. Because if you did you would 1. Either be converted by now or 2. actually know that women were condemned to the highest of regard and appreciated to the extent of pure honor. They were recognized, & seen as precious individuals. Go READ! like I said before. wench? seriously? lmao
