Animal Farm. the Assassination of Comrade Snowball. George Orwell (Eric Blair)..mp4

- George Orwell (Eric Blair) of wealthy England (that claimed 20 per cent of the Earth in the 1800-1900s), worked in filthy restaurants in France. he served as a soldier of fortune (to survive, no money) in Spain. he proposed a theory that the controllers of resources (land, houses, food, information) lie. they subdivide the world into fake teams and war zones, keep us poor and control our marriage and family, force us to pretend "patriotism" or "religion", and then kill us.
in the book "1984", the shock troops broke doors and dragged people off to prison if they did not tell the standard set of lies. in the USA, as commercial teams allowed radio internet and cables to be installed, the commercial "government" used public funds to form "local" SWAT teams and other non-national military units (they used "reports of drugs" to justify assaults. dope is a huge problem, but the attack was often more dangerous than dope).
our safety is primary. it includes houses and food (which cost less than advertising to produce). a real government provides something directly to each individual. it can be done.

This scene is scary. Not only is Snowball killed just like that, but the horror on his face as he runs and the music played as he runs. It just scary.
His terrified squealing is really heartbreaking too, it made me want to cry.
I like how in the book it was left open and how it kept you thinking as to where he went and what ended up happening to him because in the book napoleon is disappointed that he got away.
Well, being that Snowball represents Trotzky, we know how that ultimately ended up.
@@FAITHandLOGIC the dogs (Stalin's men) still got him
Snowball was always my favorite character in "Animal Farm". I'm glad he wasn't murdered in the book or in the 1999 film version, although I found the 1999 film fairly disappointing in many aspects when compared to the book.
It's only better if Snowball comes back with an army of animals and overthrowing his guard dogs and of course Napoleon himself.
@@paradoxine6287 But the point of animal farm is that it is a take on the whole Stalin thing
@@fred9029, yes, however, people would say that it is not a fully representation of Stalin, but a representation of the pattern on how a tyrannic ruler like Stalin would rise up. So, it's basically similar; you can say it can be based upon him because of that.
@@paradoxine6287 good point. This is a fun agruement. However, even if it is not 100% correct, it would make less sense to change a major part of the story as it is a major part of history
@@fred9029 he was murdered in the book but Orwell chose to write a children's story in the form of one despite the wider meaning. So endless kids like me then thought he would be coming back
I once made an animation of this for english class, but made it so graphic to the point of the dogs tearing out Snowball's heart and giving it to Napoleon, who eats it in front of everyone. I got an A.
hydras2danewbunch bro wtf
That dark man..... real dark
Why tf would an English class need an animation tho not to sound rude
@@aymathest9816 I'm pretty sure he meant to say art class.
what the блять XDDD
Every time that raven shows up in the movie, was always a sign a character/characters were about to die.
I think it's supposed to be Moses in the original book
Napoleon was gambling a bit there. How did he know his dogs wouldn't kill Snowball right there in front of the other animals?
Maybe because he ran away
It was probably planned to chase Snowball away allowing him to maintain the pace, then, the dogs would put on the after burners and...☠️
Because dogs are predators and they’re descendants of wolves. So, like wolves they would hunt in a pack and chase the prey until they either cornered it or the prey got tired. And since pigs are fat, they would tire more quickly.
@@baxteranimations71 This can also be interpreted as the dynamics between the congress member and the overthrower. The dogs here can be interpreted as secret police or the army, which serves as the power of violence of the overthrower. In front of the violent force, the other animals are helpless as they are unarmed and not prepared to fight such force. Thus, they didn't protect Snowball.
Thus, it's always an important political lesson for every ruler out there. You need to have the backing of the army or armed forces to defend your sovereignty. You can see that in real life with the present-day dictators. They can dissatisfy anyone but not the army or the police.
@@baxteranimations71 Yeah, they know that Napoleon was raising an army yet no one dared to object it because Napoleon is a high official within the party.
@NallMasaki It still makes me SO mad when I remember all those animals chasing that wagon screaming "Get out Boxer, they're taking you to the knackers!" And then Boxer repeatedly kicking at the door trying to get out, but he was too weak to make more than a dent in the door. Had Boxer escaped, the animals most likely would have revolted. But, knowing Napoleon, he most likely would have said that "Snowball's agents" had sent the knacker. What an easy scapegoat Napoleon had!
I just started reading the book in English class but I remember seeing someone review the movie also put a spoiler ⚠️
.
Spoilers
I can't wait to see the cat death
In the book he never died. They just chased him off the farm
And Napoleon states that Snowball "snuck in" to "steal their resources"
I thought his fate was unknown.
You know what's ironic, we have know idea what happens to snowball in the book, but he gets killed in the animated movie adaption, but he LIVES in the live action movie adaption.
I had just read this in the book and I had to see the animated clip, it was just like I'd imagined with the exception of how snowball is slightly larger.
If I were a farmer there I would save snowball life
And send Napoleon to the slaughter house
You would just both die then
Me too buddy... Me too.
Its funny how they killed him in this and not in the book or 1999 film.
Megaproductions302 which logically I think it makes a bit more sense for Napoleon to kill Snowball so he’s not at risk of becoming a problem for him later.
In 'reality' Stalin did get Trotsky eventually, Ice-picked in the head at his desk in Mexico City. I've actually visited the place, by the way.
The film just condensed events, as films usually do...
He probably didn't want to suffer the risk of animals remembering the right that no animal shall kill another animal
@@michaelnally2841 Snowball was weak anyway
@@seanscarisbrick8717 No one cares about Stalin. I understand that this story is after all an allegory. However there's no comparison between Stalin and Napoleon. Napoleon was genius , cunning and resourceful and the epitome of success whereas Stalin was super dumb and just lucky. There's a lot of difference
Thank god we were never shown this in class. This is too dark!!!
We were...
what were your thoughts seeing this with your class?
I, too, found it quite dark, considering the death of old major in the beginning, like wow, he just died! Right then, right there! I was surprised by this because in the book, it was a few nights later. And in the book, when Snowball was chased out by the dogs, he wasn't killed by them, I was shocked by the fact that he had died when they did so in the movie.
BenTanner92 Well, they did show this in my class.
We were as well
I think Napoleon sic the dogs on Snowball all so he could stay in power; if the animals went on Snowball's side, they would appoint him as next leader, and Napoleon, wasn't too keen on that idea.
And then when things go wrong in the farm Napoleon blames it on Snowball
I never understood why the animals didn't intervened at this point. Your leader is about to being chased to get murdered right in front of you and neither do absolutely nothing?
That's what doomed them, how passive they were. They allowed the pigs to be active in the revolution and didn't question the first issue of the missing milk. Like real life, those who are politically inactive and unaware are taken advantage of.
The sheep were yes men, Boxer wasnt the smartest knife out of the drawer and it´s not like the other animals could´ve helped much.
The time to act was when Napoleon was acting fishy with the power grabs of the land owner´s house and the removal of the dog´s kids to another place.
They were so shocked that they didn't have time to think.
That happened in real life multiple times.
@NallMasaki In the book, he presumably was chased out. That allowed Napoleon to blame any future catastrophe on Snowball (remember when the Windmill collapsed?).
So he became Napoleon and Squealer´s Scapegoat
@@sebas8225 How convenient.
If I was a tiger, I'd probably rip those dogs to half, or go down swinging.
But then Joe Exotic would have his way with you.
Napoleon: My ex;
The dogs: Lawyers she hired to obtain sole custody and enslave me with grueling child support obligations and extremely limited parenting time;
The animals: Us...
Lmao
1:29
Premier Romanov: Is it done, Yuri?
The Supreme Court later granted Napoleon immunity for ordering the assassination of his political rival.
Jesus the sound of Snowball's death 😣
Very dark indeed. Wasn't expecting to see this back in school.
Poor Snowball...or should i say Trotsky?
Whenever I watch this, I get Vietnam flashbacks!
0:27 Snowball shouldn't have given him that dumbass look knowing well what Napoleon is like.
lmao that look change real quick when the dogs came through
Snowball was sure fast for them, but they still got him
He probably got tired quickly
You can outrun something but it won't matter if they have more stamina than you do
Long Live TROTSKY!!
Snowball: (falling off the cliff) Aaaaaaahh!
I was taught that snowball looks exactly like Wilbur from Charlotte’s Web
RW:they've all took out the wrong pig.😓👎
at least in the book adaption it's hinted that the cold war is soon going to start
They chased him out of the farm
I never understood why the pigs just took control of everything. Old Major was never said to be the leader, just the eldest and wisest. It's pretty clear Farmer Jones was the leader beforehand.
Then the animals free themselves and everything is working fine until Snowball decides for everyone that they HAVE to learn human knowledge. and right after that, all pigs are suddenly authority figures?
If Snowball had succeeded then I'm pretty sure all the animals would be like the pigs were in the end. (corrupt and who they once hated and feared)
The rich part is that at least they would´ve had electricity and lived better than before, but Napoleon sabotaged everything.
Because pigs are the most intelligent farm animals, even smarter than dogs. Hence the pigs basically created a ruling class for themselves. However, the difference between Napoleon and Snowball is that Snowball wanted the consent of his comrades while Napoleon wanted himself and his followers to be the vanguards of Animal Farm.
Poor snowball.
I wish that Snowball actually fought back. Not a lot of people know that pigs are actually very capable fighters
Long live Trotsky
Poor Trotsky.
Of course they would make Snowball white
Snowball's facial expression while being chased is priceless 🤣
It would be quite comedic in any other film indeed
It is not funny 😡
@@juliaschmidt6511 i mean, if you don't take into account the ending of the chase, it's kinda funny.
I don’t think Snowball ever died but was simply chased off the land and into exile, which would make sense as the character was based on Trotsky.
I think its better for the analogy to leave snowball as an exilied political refugee instead of killing him. In the book Napoleón keeps talking about how he is making them harm from the outside.
@GeorgiaKev I understand how you feel. Hell I wish they revolted like in this movie at the end.
Well I Have homework for collage now i'm traumatized that they killed Snowball but not in the Book ir film :v
He did die in film.
Remembered watching this as a little kid although I didn’t understand the see meaning behind this film snowballs squeals of death traumatized me
Why napoleon wants to lead without snowball?
Napoleon is based on Russian dictator Joseph Stalin.
Dark!!
If you still have it,could you upload it?It sounds badass.
Holy Frigg!
0:15 BOSCH
I thought snowball was only chased out, not assassinated.
@Ian Turner Scapegoat tactics.
If you hear the screams of a pig mixed with barking dogs and the camera pans away to show a blackbird, it’s a safe bet that that pig is did. But you are correct that he’s exiled in the book.
my man was so scared he ran through the wall lmao
@GeorgiaKev That is true which is sad.
Just like having SEAL Team 6 take out your political rivals.
We don’t see what happened, but they wacked him with an ice axe in Mexico
Why did napoleon's voice change when he became leader
Reminds of Chile's coup, lol

You wouldn't exactly think it's hilarious when you're running from your life as well.
My man was so scared he ran through the wall, lmao
Found the Stalin supporter
This video title is a trifle impertinent. It's an expulsion not an assassination. (transactional talk)
In this, he gets killed, as opposed to the book or 1999 film.
Reeve Isaacs But Trotsky (snowball in reality) was killed...
Trotsky was expelled and then assassinated. This version makes more sense.
