Hi po sa inyo. Thanks for sharing this video. How do you do your physical assessment to your patients during your initial rounds? Paano po yung like respiratory assessment niyo? Any short cut techniques? Hehe Kasi dito sa Pinas hindi naman ntin nagagawa yun diba? Ito po kasi ang winoworry ko once nagwork na po ako sa US. 😇 I look forward to hearing your answer.

Review your different lung sounds. I am sure there are videos on youtube about it. Most important thing to remember is to report any abnormal lung sounds you hear esp. if it affects patient’s O2 sats or causes dyspnea/tachypnea. And on night shift, before calling MD, talk to your Charge RN first and run it by her/him. They are more experienced and can be a second set of eyes. If they think you should call MD, then call. If the patient is very unstable and deteriorating fast, call “rapid response”.
