This watch is stunning in the flesh. Seeing it on video doesn't do it justice at all. Great design and engineering it doesn't wear big at all because of the narrow lug to lug, but it's mesmerizing to look at.
Good choice for a review. Picked this one up yesterday. It’s a beauty but I’m still in the honeymoon phase. Very heavy and pushing the limits on my 6-5/8” wrist but so good looking I made an exception going over 40mm. Always liked the Samurai but didn’t want to go that big until I saw that dial in the display case of the department store. Had to bring it home. I keep staring at it, getting lost in that dial. Btw, it keeps perfect time within 1-2 sec/day. I’d like to put a strap on it to take off some weight and add comfort to my wrist. Really want this romance to work. Thanks for covering this one.
I just might prefer this to the Blue Lagoon. Consequently I’ve asked for one for Christmas so all I have to do now is worry about how bad the chapter ring is going to be. This was an excellent review that covered all the points for me - decent independent reviews of the Save the Ocean Samurai are hard to come by. Subbed
Has quickly become my everyday watch! Perfect alignment and very good accuracy, a bit heavy with the bracelet as one would suspect. Overall I love love love this watch! My only complaint is that being an over the road trucker and hard on watches I've scratched the bracelet some. I'll polish it out and I'm ordering some straps for it.
Great review. It’s good to see Seiko execute well on this one. It’s unfortunate they couldn’t do this well with the SBDC061. Hopefully they address their QC issues.
Asking as a raw dolphin sushi eater among the dead rohinga in Andaman sea floating with plastic sushi soy sauce fish bottles how does chairman's meow save the ocean in the context of the belt and road initiative?
Top notch review mate. Really loving your channel.

Thanks!
You sure it’s a real Seiko? The chapter ring actually seems to be aligned.
LOL. Yah...
I actually bought one in a shop today. Yes everything lines up. That's why I decided to buy it.

I'm tough on bracelets as well, I wouldn't worry about scratches too much, it gives them character. Thanks for watching!
Looks good with the black strap! Do you think these will sell out? Do you think they will hold value well?
Hi Gil, thanks, I think these are a staple of Seiko production for the time being, so no worries about selling out for now.
Hey Mike,
Great review! Currently wearing this one as well. Outstanding value proposition.
Great dial and near perfect quality control.
Thanks for checking in Paul, enjoy! I'm still wondering where that quality was on the SBDC061? lol

It was tough to go from being lost in that nice wrist check and once over on the awesome sea dweller and then jump back to reality to a seiko haha
LOL, yah... from one world to another. Variety is the spice of life though! :-)
Is there any difference between hands for the nh35 movement and the nh36?
Great vid, looks good on the nato.
Hi John, thanks for the comment and for watching!
How accurate is the watch?
Mine is -2 seconds per day.
I looked at this watch in my local AD, chapter ring was misaligned.
That's crazy, how much was it off by?
Just Watch Enough to put me off buying unfortunately.
