They were really going at it, and I got bit, although I didn't even notice it at the time due to the adrenaline rush. I only realized I had been bit after the fight had been broken up and I saw blood running down my arm and dripping off my fingers. The fight was so frenzied that I don't even know which dog bit me. I had to get stitches and have my arm in a sling for several weeks. Lesson learned, I'll never do that again. I do have to say though, that when something like that happens, it does happen in a split second. You don't take the time to think "Well, hmmm, I should probably handle this THIS way ... or maybe I should do THAT instead ... hmmm"; you just react. For someone to claim that "he shouldn't have accidentally gotten his hand in the way when my dog was attacking his" is pretty disingenuous. WAY TOO MUCH repetitiveness on this show. They cover the case when they walk in, then Harvey covers it when they cut to him, then the judge covers it when they cut to her. This goes on throughout the show.
Dogs must be socialized and trained never never let your dogs be off the leash. Reputation reputation I don't take any chances gator was an untrained dog. Why are some people so irresponsible irresponsible with their dogs
Both owners were dumb to let two dogs who don't know each other come nose to nose, especially if the biggest one is "excited". Fights at dog shows are rare, despite the fact that you have hundreds of intact male dogs and female dogs, some of which are in heat. The reason is that we know our big male dogs don't like each other and we give each other plenty of space. Pet owners often make the mistake. The worst dogfights I've ever seen have been in Petsmart in Houston - pet owners who don't practice safe handling, multiple combatants. I watched a fight between two Chows and one Rottweiler roll up one aisle and down another.
dogs on leashes are known to be slightly more aggressive. I know my dog wont bite someone while she is off leash at dog parks, but on leash i know that she will be a lot more protective over me.
I think the reason he got pain and suffering was because the dog owner was so apathetic towards the way they let the dog hurt not one but 3 people, and hitting him in the wallet was the only punishment she could give him. The guy really didn't deserve the extra, but the other guy needed the smack in the wallet more.
Guess shouldn’t have a dog you don’t have time for. You obviously can’t handle your dog either. It’s to bad your dog had to pay with his life. I hope you never get another one.
Sounds like Gator got old and lost his mind and became aggressive. I don't know how you own a dog and have it bite that many people though. This guy obviously shouldn't be a dog owner if he has such poor control over his dogs.
U know your own dog first and foremost. U just have to have dog on leash and be ready to pull him back if two strange dogs sniff each other. Observe and be attentive esp if dog is nervous or scared of new dogs ...
If I decide to walk my dogs and someone wants to get near them, I say the one word answer, NO. IDK how my dogs are going to react to anything. My boy was the worse. Lol. I never approach a dog either, okay I am lying about that. I am sure I will die by the paw and teeth of some animal. But not when I have my dogs with me.

While I do understand the logic behind the verdict, I am still a bit surprised by it. I also thought of construction trucks that have signs on them that says drivers assume own risk.

He might've had to pay less had he not forced the plaintiff to take it this far 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
@09:58 Golf widow ? Did her husband pass away ?
No it means she’s married to someone who’s a good addict and spends most his time golfing
WAY TOO MUCH repetitiveness on this show. They cover the case when they walk in, then Harvey covers it when they cut to him, then the judge covers it when they cut to her. This goes on throughout the show.
Dogs must be socialized and trained never never let your dogs be off the leash. I have a very friendly dog but I do not let people pet her and I don't ask people if their dogs are friendly I own a pittbull and she loves everyone but because of their bad undeserved.
It’s like the memes of dogs barking and attacking a glass door to get to each other, but you open it and they both chill.
No, your dogs arn’t human.
Damn didn't think she was going to give the pain and suffering
I think the reason he got pain and suffering was because the dog owner was so apathetic towards the way they let the dog hurt not one but 3 people, and hitting him in the wallet was the only punishment she could give him. The guy really didn't deserve the extra, but the other guy needed the smack in the wallet more.
@@donnam5060 true
Wow. She awarded pain and suffering yet usually says these types of cases pain and suffering is really negligible. Plaintiff really played on it.
She says you can’t do pain and suffering for contract cases like a party got cancelled or something similar
Pain and suffering is literally awarded when you get hurt by someone's negligence. A dog bite is an injury.
That plaintiff is mmm, hmmmm, lol.
6:36 that woman is beautiful my goodness
It's dragged along...not drug along!
U know your own dog first and foremost. U just have to have dog on leash and be ready to pull him back if two strange dogs sniff each other. Observe and be attentive esp if dog is nervous or scared of new dogs ...
Sorry gator. He doesn't deserve it.
🤣 same "death by paw" 🤣
@@alyssahamlett I almost went after a bobcat. I realized it wasn't a house cat though. Lol
Hello dog owners that's the point of dogs sniffing each other if they are going to be friends or not! The other dog was like naw dog I ain't feeling ya! and he had every right too!
While I do understand the logic behind the verdict, I am still a bit surprised by it. I thought the ruling would be to sue the golf course because they were negligent in providing adequate distance between itself and surrounding community (somewhere city zoning might’ve mucked up). I also thought of construction trucks that have signs on them that says drivers assume own risk.
I think you posted this to the wrong video. If you want, you can delete it by clicking the three dots in its upper right corner and then clicking Delete.
@@BobBlumenfeldthank you
its a dog, no matter the guy asked if he is friendly. The dog might have been old or sick and in pain and just didn't want to be bothered. They are dogs, they don't need another dogs in their lives. You want your dog to play with another one, well it's your fault if you get bitten. Poor dog. The plaintiff deserves hinds to be bitten off.
Doesn't the plaintiff not having a leash come into play? I'm thinking if his dog was also on leash he could have just pulled his dog back and not have gotten bit. Just my opinion, but I think at the least, the cost should have been split.
The dog was on a leash, and he did pull back on it. His free hand was bit.
@@AishaBrownIsMe OK, I missed the part where he put it back on leash.
Florida law is written that way. She said none of the exceptions applied so all defendants responsibility.
The plaintiff is so lame about not being able to work cause he had finger boo boo.
did you not see the pictures? It will be a good 10 years before he has complete use of his finger and not only that he'll now need to train his other finger to pick his nose. 😂
I think they should have split it 😕
cant play golf and softball, you're not a pro
Plaintiff is cute! 🥰
I doubt that
Dog bites always Win there case easy as pie. The defendant just didn’t show much interest 😂
forgot to add "style" before "dilemma". LOL
If gator got put down I think he mightve had a record. That poor dog. He should havw been trained better. How is this guy even saying its not his fault
