LA really has become a shit-hole. The amount of homeless/drug addicted people on the streets is staggering. It's not what the movies make it out to be, it's a dump. The politics in the area are extremely corrupted and have caused this mess. It will take literal decades to fix LA, assuming it's not too far gone.

The Entirety of LA County is done for, it was done for last year, it was done for in 2015 when I lived there and it was done for 10 years before that. The cost of living is unadulterated BS, the amount of nasty, disease spreading Homeless people is and was out of control. The Weather is all they have going for them, I was able to ride a mountain bike every day I lived there, it almost never rains there and when it does it's not enough to even stop anyone from riding a Bike. But the people there are clueless, the entire County is Dirty with Bum/Homeless camps everywhere, under every overpass and the air quality is still complete garbage. I left in 2016, I told my woman if she wanted to be with me, she'll have to go with me, where the air is clean, the grass and trees are real and green and the winters are cold. You couldn't pay me to live in Los Angeles County and definitely not in downtown. I had been to Northern Cali to Southern Cali, from San Fran and San Jose to San Diego... Other than the weather, the State is not worth visiting, let alone living there. The Laws are stupid, the people are ignorant High, Drunk, Lazy and gender confused and there are drug needles laying around for your kids to poke themselves upon. Do yourself a favor and avoid the entire State, it sucks.

It’s where it’s becoming legal, people are growing literal tons of it and what doesn’t make the cut ends up in towns like where I live and I gotta smoke the bud lol

That shit is good. It’s funny though back in the day having seeds in weed was kinda a drag when you didn’t grow. In the late 90s and early 2000s seedless weed started coming around more often and it was better. Now this medical grade stuff just puts me to sleep or makes me really anxious. Very jittery.
