  • Hello team, hope yall are getting excited for the Path of Exile Settlers of Kalguur launch coming up this Friday 7/26/2024!
I wanted to share my thoughts on the Melee rework, the Slams buffs, the Berserker ascendancy, Warcry builds, the ancestral totems removal, and the overall game balance decisions made in 3.25. Basically a long rambling opinion video, my favorite.
Warcries and Slams will be great, fun, however I hesitate to call them anywhere in the S to S+ build power. I think they can still have defensive concerns, and the necessary tools require a lot of skill point investment into the tree. I also am concerned about Mana, which I talked about in my past Slams videos. Elreon jewelry is such a dumbass crutch in this game, I hate it and wish they would figure out a better way. But it is what it is.
I also try to caution newer players, as I don't think Slams are for everyone, I think other builds are a LOT more beginner friendly. Slams will still have a lot of buttons to press and will require a good understanding of the gearing/crafting system, and the playstyle is unforgiving if your defenses are not great. The damage will probably be solid, though.
I'm expecting to start Earthshatter, but I am still going over everything. There's so much to review! We'll see how it goes.
    Love,
    Jesse
