This guy is rated 200 out of 100!! He may have a disability but he is all heart! He is better than most people I know without a disability. I am sadden that the wife did not stick around in her daughters life. She does not need to continue to be married but should be involved with her daughter! The fact that the dad is constantly evaluating himself and wanting to be better, already makes him a much better dad than most people. Minzy might not have material wealth as she grows up, but she'll ALWAYS have her father's love. He's doing so so so much better than a lot of people who've birthed kids.

There are 2 types of disabilities, visible and hidden. Someone can be completely coherent and seem intelligent, but have a hidden disability like dyspraxia. You wouldn't notice until you asked him to read or write something. In Asia people are very judgemental about these things, there is stigma. It is the sad reality, but this father is rising above and beyond all that.

Mister, you are such a good father. I admire your heart and your hard work. Never be ashamed for your condition or where you come from. My parents came as poor workers to Germany and they couldn't help me at school or my education.... Since they always worked and never had a good education themselves from coming from a poor background, they tried their best for taking care of me and my sibling. Now I work at one of the biggest companies here, and I have never been ashamed of my parents! You are a wonderful human. I wish you and your daughter all the best.

As a person who has a father with a disability I’ve always resented him and wanted him to be a normal person. But seeing this video made me realize he does more than I could ever know. So I should love him for who he is
My mom used to sing to me and i never thought much of it, after her death my grandma told me how she was terrible at memorizing stuff and the only reason she knew that song so well was because I liked it a lot as a toddler. Your feelings are valid it’s a tough life hope you and your dad get along even better ❤
When my father contracted HIV I was still entering pre-adolescence. I remember feeling very angry with him and afraid to see him die. My father used drugs from age 12 to age 57/58. Died 4 years ago. We survived for over 15 years with HIV, I was lucky to have him for many years, I was lucky to give him granddaughters. I still feel angry that he got HIV and that he didn't get off drugs, but I'm grateful to the universe that I had the opportunity to live with him. My eldest daughter is mildly autistic, a few years ago when we noticed the symptoms I was very afraid of not being able to be the mother she needed to be, but we are living and trying to be happy every day. I can't imagine what you've been through, but I hope you get something good out of it and try to be happy. I want to believe that your father tried to do what was possible for him as my father did for me and as I try to do for my daughters.
He's doing his best to raise her well & educated. Notice everyone when the camera man asked Minzy about the kimchi first she said "it was spicy" but then when she knowledge that her father made it for her she said "It's a bit spicy, but its delicious" He raised the best compassionate & sweet girl.
This is often the case with non physical disabilities. he has a slight intellectual disability so he can live a relatively normal life. His struggle lies in his ability to understand or do complex task that involve the mind. Like in the video he was struggling to do simple math. Often they can be tricked more easily than a person without an intellectual disability.
Despite his intellectual disability, his emotional intelligence is so strong and pure. Also, even though it's hard for him to learn, he is still doing so for he sake of his daughter... he learned how to make kimchi, which not many people can easily do, and still pushed himself to learn some lessons for the sake of his daughter. Every day, he is pushing himself past his "limits" for the sake of his daughter, and creating a happy, healthy, safe life for her. I think that's so beautiful, and a lot of people who might learn things quickly might not be so patient and loving as him. What a great and amazing father. And you can see by how sweet and considerate Minzy is, just how well her dad is raising her.

Mental disabilities and illnesses are real and should be acknowledged so that we can spread awareness about the realities that people with mental disabilities face and reduce stigma. Saying someone has a mental disability is not an insult if they actually have one. Your comment actually just further drives the stigma against mental disability as it's like you're associating mental disability with the incapability of feeling and giving love and kindness. You even said "real human" at the end. People with mental disabilities ARE real humans. Just because they have a disorder that affects their cognitive abilities, behaviors, and/or moods doesn't make them not human. It's definitely not their fault they have it either. Your intention matters, but how you express those intentions matter more.

Not all disabilities are visible. I'm sure there's no disability in his love for Minzy but I'm also sure he wants to do better for their relationship by becoming someone she can depend on, for homework for example. I think he's trying his best and that's really admirable but he thinks he's lacking due to his intellectual disability :(
I literally cried my eyes out, and I hardly cry in general at all. I hope he understands that he is doing enough and I hope that minzy grows up to be a healthy and strong adult
His intellectual disability allows him to care for his daughter. Home is clean, she’s clean, takes her to school, helps with her homework, and loves his daughter. They have love for each other.

My heart goes out to him. He seems like an amazing father, and he clearly does so much for his daughter. Having a disability does not make you any less of a person. You still matter the same amount as you would if you didn’t have the disability. You are beautiful just the way you are. I admire him and I wish I had a dad like him, my dad left me at 3, I’m 22 now. My mom has a physical disability that prevents her from walking the same, she was hit by a car and run over by a truck on the freeway in the 1980’s, but eventually many years after she raised my sister and I even though she wasn’t the same as other parents, she was always my mom and my best friend. She always taught me that everyone is different in their own way. but you don’t disrespect or judge people for the way they look, or what their sexuality is. It’s not a perfect kind society, but it doesn’t mean you can’t be a kind person.

His disability may make it harder for him to learn things that the average person sees as easy, but in my eyes he’s more intelligent than most people out there. He’s intelligent enough to be a dad that looks out for his daughter, treat her with respect and help her with things even he finds difficult. Yes, there are fathers out there who dont even know how to treat their kids right. He did a very good job as a father. He doesnt lack anything in taking care of his daughter. He gave his all, he wanted to learn eventhough it is hard for him to do so. Wishing for their happy life together forever😊
I know it's not a competition, but that's a bit under representing dads out there. My dad was our summer camp counselor, rode bikes on the weekend, coached my soccer team, drove me to all my sports stuff, drove me around to deliver Sunday newspapers for nearly 2 years (because the papers were heavy), paid for my college until I got really bad grades. Taught me basic stuff around the house and instilled an education background into all of us.

There are 2 types of disabilities, visible and hidden. Someone can be completely coherent and seem intelligent, but have a hidden disability like dyspraxia. You wouldn't notice until you asked him to read or write something. In Asia people are very judgemental about these things, there is stigma. It is the sad reality, but this father is rising above and beyond all that.
Not seeing his disability is a insult. He work so much harder to be at standard but he do better than everyone even if it’s so hard.
He is both, a man with a disability & a good father. Even better father than most because he supports his child & prioritizes her.

내 생물학적인 아버지라는 인간은 장애는 없었지만 제정신으로 살았던적이 없어 가족을 지옥속에 살게했었어. 아버지의 사랑이라는걸 받은적이 없어서 나는 민지 니가 너무 부럽다. 진짜 자랑스러운 아버지고 민지는 그런 아버지를 사랑하는 좋은 딸이네. 살다보면 말같지도 않은 말로 너와 아버지를 상처입히는 말들도 종종 듣겠지만 그런말들에 상처받지 않았으면 좋겠다. 인생이 도움1도 안되는 사람들 얘기는 흘려듣고 아버지랑 항상 행복하길 바랄께.

My parents came as poor workers to Germany and they couldn't help me at school or my education.... Since they always worked and never had a good education themselves from coming from a poor background, they tried their best for taking care of me and my sibling. As a person who has a father with a disability I’ve always resented him and wanted him to be a normal person. But seeing this video made me realize he does more than I could ever know. So I should love him for who he is
My mom used to sing to me and i never thought much of it, after her death my grandma told me how she was terrible at memorizing stuff and the only reason she knew that song so well was because I liked it a lot as a toddler. Your feelings are valid it’s a tough life hope you and your dad get along even better ❤
When my father contracted HIV I was still entering pre-adolescence. I remember feeling very angry with him and afraid to see him die. My father used drugs from age 12 to age 57/58. Died 4 years ago. We survived for over 15 years with HIV, I was lucky to have him for many years, I was lucky to give him granddaughters. I still feel angry that he got HIV and that he didn't get off drugs, but I'm grateful to the universe that I had the opportunity to live with him. My eldest daughter is mildly autistic, a few years ago when we noticed the symptoms I was very afraid of not being able to be the mother she needed to be, but we are living and trying to be happy every day. I can't imagine what you've been through, but I hope you get something good out of it and try to be happy. I want to believe that your father tried to do what was possible for him as my father did for me and as I try to do for my daughters.

He's doing his best to raise her well & educated. Notice everyone when the camera man asked Minzy about the kimchi first she said "it was spicy" but then when she knowledge that her father made it for her she said "It's a bit spicy, but its delicious" He raised the best compassionate & sweet girl.

He is so caring that I can't really see if he has a disability. He looks like a total normal person.That is wonderful
This is often the case with non physical disabilities. he has a slight intellectual disability so he can live a relatively normal life. His struggle lies in his ability to understand or do complex task that involve the mind. Like in the video he was struggling to do simple math. Often they can be tricked more easily than a person without an intellectual disability.
Despite his intellectual disability, his emotional intelligence is so strong and pure. Also, even though it's hard for him to learn, he is still doing so for he sake of his daughter... he learned how to make kimchi, which not many people can easily do, and still pushed himself to learn some lessons for the sake of his daughter. Every day, he is pushing himself past his "limits" for the sake of his daughter, and creating a happy, healthy, safe life for her. I think that's so beautiful, and a lot of people who might learn things quickly might not be so patient and loving as him. What a great and amazing father. And you can see by how sweet and considerate Minzy is, just how well her dad is raising her.

It's not about being mean or judgemental. People get diagnosed with mental disabilities so that they can get the help and funding that they need. -______-
i know you meant well, but your comment is very ignorant, rude and poorly worded. Mental disabilities and illnesses are real and should be acknowledged so that we can spread awareness about the realities that people with mental disabilities face and reduce stigma. Saying someone has a mental disability is not an insult if they actually have one. Your comment actually just further drives the stigma against mental disability as it's like you're associating mental disability with the incapability of feeling and giving love and kindness. You even said "real human" at the end. People with mental disabilities ARE real humans. Just because they have a disorder that affects their cognitive abilities, behaviors, and/or moods doesn't make them not human. It's definitely not their fault they have it either.
Your intention matters, but how you express those intentions matter more.
There is a great difference between mental disability and intellectual disability and developmental disability. Big difference.

I'm sure there's no disability in his love for Minzy but I'm also sure he wants to do better for their relationship by becoming someone she can depend on, for homework for example. I think he's trying his best and that's really admirable but he thinks he's lacking due to his intellectual disability :(

His intellectual disability allows him to care for his daughter. Home is clean, she’s clean, takes her to school, helps with her homework, and loves his daughter. They have love for each other.

My heart goes out to him. He seems like an amazing father, and he clearly does so much for his daughter. Having a disability does not make you any less of a person. You still matter the same amount as you would if you didn’t have the disability. You are beautiful just the way you are. I admire him and I wish I had a dad like him, my dad left me at 3, I’m 22 now. My mom has a physical disability that prevents her from walking the same, she was hit by a car and run over by a truck on the freeway in the 1980’s, but eventually many years after she raised my sister and I even though she wasn’t the same as other parents, she was always my mom and my best friend. She always taught me that everyone is different in their own way. but you don’t disrespect or judge people for the way they look, or what their sexuality is. It’s not a perfect kind society, but it doesn’t mean you can’t be a kind person.
Actually, you should judge people for the way they look because if the punk has ink all over his face and is wearing a t shirt that says "killer" or something like that you should come to the conclusion he is garbage. As for homos and lesbins, they are vile deviants that are no different from child molestors, rapists, etc.
His disability may make it harder for him to learn things that the average person sees as easy, but in my eyes he’s more intelligent than most people out there. He’s intelligent enough to be a dad that looks out for his daughter, treat her with respect and help her with things even he finds difficult. I love how he does his best with everything he does for her. I wish I had a dad like him.
Yes, there are fathers out there who dont even know how to treat their kids right. He did a very good job as a father. He doesnt lack anything in taking care of his daughter. He gave his all, he wanted to learn eventhough it is hard for him to do so. Wishing for their happy life together forever😊

I know it's not a competition, but that's a bit under representing dads out there. My dad was our summer camp counselor, rode bikes on the weekend, coached my soccer team, drove me to all my sports stuff, drove me around to deliver Sunday newspapers for nearly 2 years (because the papers were heavy), paid for my college until I got really bad grades. Taught me basic stuff around the house and instilled an education background into all of us.
I really hope that she wont be ashamed of her father whem she grow up. And I hope she wont be bullied by others becoz of her dad's condition
