I have a very strong feeling either Anora or Emelia Perez will be snubbed hugely at the Oscars. Or both. I hearing a LOT of big reactions with Gladiator 2. And I have a feeling Juror #2 is going to pull a Million Dollar Baby surprise as well, and I think the Academy want Angelina Jolie glamor A-List high again. The Academy promoting films like Everything Everywhere, and Poor Things, haven't helped the Academy in terms of ratings or prestige. It's look lame. This year is going to be interesting.
I could see it happening with EP because there's an increasingly amount of criticisms coming the Trans and Mexican communities. That disclosure will only emphasize when the it's released. It will be interesting to say the least
SAG will almost definitely go to Karla and BAFTA to Mikey or Marianne. I think Karla will be snubbed by BAFTA, as Lily was. Nicole will win the Globe - Drama. Angelina was never happening. It will come down to which film wins BP. If neither do, than I really believe Nicole takes Best Actress.
Many times to be honest I wanted to watch your opinion guys but I just hate it really when you guys do spoilers ugh even if we are expected to have seen the show already.
I do not understand all the hype these experts and critics are giving Emilia Perez, I watched it in theater in france and it was very boring and all over the place. I cannot imagine a world where that could be an ensemble nominee or a best picture. Zoe and Karla were really good and I can see them get some awards love but that's it.
@@soureviews1277 Yeah! I felt the exact same way when I saw it. I really hope it doesn’t get nominated anywhere except for Zoe because Karla doesn't have much to do.
@@JoshFriedman786 I believe when the general public sees it on Netflix they will hate it, and that can change the entire course of the awards conversation. In my theater some people were even laughing at some scenes especially at Selena.
I'm giving her Major kudos and hype for The Substance But Before this she's never been anything Near remarkable. She's, for the lack of anything better, just held her own in her movies. She moved me a couple of times in Ghost, she cries well, but that's it. The Substance = Game changer and deserves to be nominated around the Awards circuit. Too bad it's a 'genre' film.
@@timgriffin3368 Yeah she definitely won't be nominated for that type of movie but I hope she gets more opportunities to do more serious roles soon. Everyone really takes her for granted.
No Obvious Front Runner = Joyce's Dream Come True 😅😅😅
I would like to see a nom for Demi Moore. And as long as Danielle Deadwyler is nominated, I will be happy.

"... and then Nicole Kidman will win". Lol haha will be amazing.
Yes, that will be absolutely amazing so those folks will be shut out.
If Culkin hadn’t been successful with winning awards for Succession, would he really be in contention for an Oscar.
A lot of people miss awards because they’re unknown
No.

Could Emilia Perez miss ensemble like The Favourite
Yeah that could happen because Roma also missed ensemble and there's only been two foreign films to get into ensemble in the last thirty years.
sel definitely getting in instead of natasha
I'm so excited for Emilia and the awards season
Have you seen the movie? I've seen it and it's pretty overrated
@@JoshFriedman786 * in your opinion
@@JoshFriedman786 totally agree, very overrated and people will realize that when it's out on Netflix
Saturday night is so great
Jolie will probably win BAFTA imo
Nicole will win BAFTA, British are going crazy about Babygirl
Are you presenting the SAG predictions or you are here to market for Anora, talking about the movie for like 20 minutes?

This is the Screen Actors Guild. Demi Moore has never been respected enough in the Actor's community.

Less respected as an actor than SAG nominees Jennifer Lopez, Adam Sandler, Mil Kunis and Sarah Silverman?
