It takes a great actor like Fishburne to appreciate great moments in acting! I've seen every movie he mentioned with the exception of one; I think I'll rent Chattahoochee this weekend! PS: No doubt Fishburne has done some amazing work, but I think my favorite moment was the way his character connected w/Shug Avery as she became aware of the church's choir singing, there was something so beautifully moving & telling in their shared glance.
don't remember Rains if Lawrence of Arabia at all. Need to watch it again. Who wrote this dialogue though? "There's a little clash of personality. One of them's half mad, and the other one wholly unscrupulous". Who wrote this!?
He just likes the old actors and that it because if they said their lines like he is mimicing them than it was a usual perfomances . Noone touches pacino, deniro and de lewis
His passionate enthusiasm makes me want to see every film he mentioned
Thing is, they're all great.
I'm here for this man geeking out on movies and actors
I could watch actors geeking out over other actors all day long. This is great.
Bravo... Fishburne has the sensibility to describe Claude Rain and all those... bravo
Lawrence Fishburne is a great actor and seem like a good man.
That's why he's my favorite actor.
LF is such a powerful actor. I really wish he did more movies. Always enjoy his work.
Laurence Fishburne is acting while talking about actors acting. It's great stuff.
Laurence 🐟🔥
God you can so tell, this is what he always wanted to do. The sheer passion is inspiring
‘Boys in the hood’ is a masterpiece and Mr. Fishburnes performance in that film for me is a standout example of a master class in acting.
Totally. Especially the gentrification scene
LF: Is the MAN himself, but humble enough to namecheck everybody else = LEGEND.
Love every one of his movies he is so very talented movie star ⭐️

Really terrific accents and impressions.
He does good impressions of famous actors.
Denzel and Laurence make it happen........somebody.
Dhhwbsbd
Man I’m surprised it never has.. never saw a fishburne role I didn’t like
Sometimes ego plays a role in that. Who would be top billing? Would one of them accept not being the lead actor?
What a great, humble guy...I love you, LF.
His impression of Sydney Greenstreet is spot on.
Those are fantastic impressions of Lorre, Greenstreet, and Raines. Spot on!
I had the opportunity to meet him years ago,,I can tell you ,,very kind & polite .
I’m glad he mentioned Lorre and Greenstreet, as well as O’Toole in “My Favorite Year.”
Love this guy. Great English accent as well.
He mentioned my beloved Claude Rains!
I LOVE HIM TOO MUCH 💝💗💞
Gary oldman is fucking amazing
Peter o toole is obviously his favourite actor.

he remembers all those ppl in those movies. impressive
Loved him in Boyz n the hood
Love how in a interview he said when people come up to him and call him morpheus he looks at them and says you think that's air your breathing in?
A true craftsman.
This guy was really amazing in the film : " The assault on precinct 13"
"I just keep swinging anyway" That's such a funny but diplomatic response, it's like "whatever, I'm gonna do me"
How about Gene Hackman in Mississippi Burning ?
Where's the rest of this interview?
Very cool
Shit, now I gotta see some of these movies...
Don’t sleep on Lawrence Fishburn
I love acting.
keep talking, keep talking..!

Wow!
Higher learning was my favorite movie he star in. What's was your favorite ?
Did he mean Anthony Quayle in LofA ?
I'm so campy I liked him best in Red Heat as the disapproving lt.
What's the name of the show? Thanks.
TCM’s Elvis Mitchell: Under the Influence
They should have mentioned Predators, it was bye everybody, amateurs
Uhhhhhh nobody’s beyond Jesus, don’t say that Lawrence always put RESPECT ON JESUS’S NAME💯💯💯💯💯
I need to watch the movie Lawrence of Arabia
Beyond Jesus??? That's impossible in this world, the universe and beyond

You weren’t listening: his first mention was of Gary Oldman. And LF was asked for his opinion, not yours.
“old actors.” lol. Most of them eclipse Pacino and De Niro.
@@Bavv77
I love all of the actors he mentioned but Fishburne loves De Niro and Pacino as well
I’ve seen him speak very highly of hem
He, unfortunately, made one teenie-tiny mistake! It's Anthony QUAYLE, NOT Quinn... Otherwise, Off the Hook, Man!
Both actors were in the movie Quinn and Quayle
YES, everyone has been shitting all over my FUBAR! I stand corrected, I sit dejected.
@@donmcgibbon6575 You’re a mensch. You admitted your mistake - we all make them, but we don’t all acknowledge them publicly. Chapeau!
