as someone who constantly tries so hard even though my effort just arent enough most of the time, this is a line that hit home the most. the most important person in my life cheered me on during my finals and i did try, but i still failed in some of my tests and the disappointment i feel just sucks. so seeing this scene play out, i was emotional :((( and now im waiting for how the rest turns out, after 10 years.

But why do we have to be great, society puts a pressure us like we have to be remembered to be great but why what for, why not just be happy, people to great things but at the end being remembered doesn't matter because we all end in the same place. Id rather live a happy mediocre life than be remembered.

That's one way to look at it but some just want to be known for something and leave a legacy, seeds in the ground to grow our world into something greater, not just for themself. Like I do. I want to leave a legacy and I'll do literally anything to do so. I find happiness in my example.
I think ANYONE CAN achieve greatness. Nothing is impossible and it's not even logical to say that it's impossible. You can be the "I'm" in possible just with passion, motivation, and hard work. It is up to us to eliminate the obstacles, systems, and limits. That's how we achieve.

This was amazing, I loved the depth of emotion you managed to convey in such a short time. The way you never make a big deal out of two girls dating is wonderful, I really loved the way it’s portrayed. You don’t know what it means to me to see a beautiful story like this with girls together. The story is enrapturing this is truly incredible. I literally feel like crying in the best way possible from this.

This video hits so close to home, it reminds me of the time when I used to tutor someone, I remember her being a good student but she was never on the class top 5, which what everyone was aiming to be part of. It wasn't because she wasn't trying, she actually did work hard but even now I can't forget what she told me before, that not everyone would come out on top and that there's nothing wrong about being #2. She told me that everyone always wants the #1 spot but what about being #2? or #3? It seems that everyone wants to be the best that they forget to value the amount effort one put in just because they didn't come out on top and all of a sudden they're just side characters.
This really hit home. Just because someone isn't on the top of the class doesn't mean they're not trying their hardest, and none of us have a say in how hard someone appears to be working bc we don't know. I'm even guilty of accusing people of not putting in enough effort from seeing the end result, and I now see how harmful of an assumption that is. There will always be people better at things than others, but it doesn't mean the people at the bottom aren't trying their very hardest.

i just wanted to say that this is amazing! i am a lesbian and having this representation is so inspiring especially when dealing with a lot of compulsory heterosexuality. Films like this allow me to accept and embrace who i am and thats why i also wanted to make films to represent those who haven't been represented. Please keep making inspiring films like this! How did you come up with this concept?
The whole point of me making short films is to practice and gear myself up so that I'm good enough to make a feature length movie. But yes, it would absolutely be a queer couple.
Both actresses are straight and are in relationships with men.
And the idea for the film was created when I read a science article about the mathematics probability of soulmates.

It's so simple and aesthetic yet always so deep and meaningful. this whole "shoving your own feelings aside in order for your loved ones to succeed" plot isn't exactly _new_ but the beauty of storytelling is that you get to make it your own. I loved your take on it, I'm usually not one to dig romance and squishy stuff but you got me invested in these characters. I'm excited (and terrified tbh) to see how their story ends. I really love the way you portray their relationship. It's never made out as a big deal and it has bumps in the road, like any relationship should. I really love the idea of making one girl lie about getting into a good college just so the other girl can get in without hindering her. But December 31st is such a long time... I'm not complaining because your short films are well worth the wait.

I just used royalty free music LOL. If I never credit any music in a film it's because it was royalty free music. But my main objective was to convey a sense of epicness, to heighten and elevate the emotions that run high in the film.

Wow... I know I'm late but this... This just hit me in the feels. It's like, sometimes, you have to lie, not for yourself, but for the one you love the most, because you don't want to drag them down to your level. Because you know they deserve so much more. Because you love them so much. *cries*
the part I love the most about this series is how authentically korean it is. its written like other famous k-dramas, also the cinematography is amazing. love the dialogue and the ACTORS, omg the actors, they are phenomenal. Is there a way for us to pay the actors directly so that they aren’t just volunteering their time?

Incredible job and thank you for sharing a story from South Korea that I had never seen yet. I loved it and it touched me.

I was struggling to make changes in my script on a lesbian girl so I was watching some short films for reference and I came across "1 in 10,000" . I really love this. I honestly can't wait until act 3. I'm a junior in high school so my teen years are almost over. As a viewer of your content I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed this. Unfortunately, I'm inexperienced so I can't give critism without knowing more about film making and being a content creator. However, as a regular everyday teen all I can say is to keep going and I hope one day I'll be able to do what you're doing. Absolutely beautiful! I swear my heart dropped when Ara said she actually tried T_T The camera work was incredible, loved the use of the medium/close up shots on the actresses' faces. 1 in 10,000 is based on the concept that mathematically, the chances of meeting your soulmate is 1 in 10,000 lifetimes. This is a real mathematical theory proposed by a scientist turned cartoonist. I read an article about it one day and my reaction was similar to Ara's. "What's the point?" And after many months of soul searching, I found out what the point was, which becomes the answer and resolution for ACT III.
