Questions and answers:
Are buckwheat pillows good? In my opinion, they are not very good because they're not comfortable. Sobakawa pillows are too hard, firm and crunchy and may actually hurt your ear from sleeping on them!
Does a buckwheat hull pillow support well for side sleeping? Yes but they are too hard and crunchy - noisy! Try a millet hull pillow!
Do they help with neck pain or shoulder discomfort? Yes but the pain they cause from being too firm makes them not worth it!
Can you use a buckwheat hull pillow for back and belly sleeping too? Yes but your face will be in pain! They're too firm!
Are buckwheat pillows hypoallergenic? Yes, like millet pillows they are also hypoallergenic and unlikely to cause an allergic reaction.
Are buckwheat pillows cool? Yes they are cooler than other pillows because they allow air flow better. Still, I do not recommend them.
Millet vs buckwheat pillow: Are buckwheat pillows too hard and do they make noisy, crunchy sound when you move and conform them? Absolutely. This is why I don't sell them!
Do buckwheat hulls get bed bugs in them? Maybe the bugs will bite! No, buckwheat and millet pillows do not get bugs in them.
Can you adjust the amount of hulls to get the pillow just the right size? Are the cases zippered?
Do buckwheat pillows come in standard, queen, king or Japanese sizes? How about neck pillows and horseshoe neck pillows? The best sizes for hull pillows are square in shape!
If you want to buy a bodypillow, are those comfortable for sleeping too? Can you throw your leg and arm over the bolster and get supported well? Yes but buy a millet hull bodypillow! They're amazing!

Brett's millet hull pillows completely healed a stiff neck I'd had for 2 years. No kidding. I was skeptical at first and truthfully it took me about a week to get used to it but now I can't use any other kind of pillow. I take mine with me when I travel. I bought another one as gift and the recipient loves his too. Treat yourself and get one or two. You won't regret it.

I was in a car accident long ago and have had neck pain since. I purchased one of Brett's great pillows and I now have full neck support. Once you lie down on it you just sink into it will full support. I highly recommend this pillow. Thanks Brett!

Will se I just ordered one, I don’t do reviews or comments but this one got me interested since I buy pillows and they sucks, my neck and shoulders hurt and I really hope this helps.
I will be posting a review after a month from receiving the pillow with hopefully better sleep.

I've had Brett's millet hull pillow for a few months now and I love it. Much more comfortable than my old Tempurpedic pillow. I only had to adjust the amount of hulls inside, now it's perfect, can't imagine using any other type of pillow now 🥰

Took this into consideration, and bought a millet pillow. Have had a husk one for 5 years but reckoned I needed another one as a backup and for guests in my new apartment.
I now have two of Brett’s amazing pillows. They are hands-down, the best pillows money you can buy. Don’t be fooled by imitation crap. Buy a pillow from Brett. You won’t be disappointed.

I've had my buckwheat pillow when I was a kid in the 90s..
I have the shoulder bolster pillows and love them! I use them during my massage sessions. They are very high quality construction, durable, natural and comfortable. It's very important to me that they are natural and these are! Keep up the great work Brett! You make amazing products!

I've been using this guys Millet pillow for years now and man is it the best pillow I've ever used! I'm a 100% stomach sleeper and I can bunch this pillow up just right giving me a face down position with a perfect face pocket. I make an upside down U shape and it holds the position all night. The pillow stays cool and the Millet's give a perfect stability.

How can you get a silk pillowcase for these size pillows? I didn't notice any silk options on the website
If someone wants silk cases, they can send the material to me. I don't offer silk. Very little demand. Too expensive. Not generally organic.
What's the weight difference looking for a light pillow for backpacking not a big heavy one the blow up ones are junk
Millet pillows would not be a good choice for backpacking. Even my arm support pillow is about 1.7 pounds.
hello Brett, for my part I have very fragile cervical, I can never find the right pillow, even those who are specialized do nothing about it. Are yours effective in dealing with this cervical issue?
