Me either I got all the way to end about to drive in garage after 500 tries and a cop hit me and I ran into wall and crashed. I about destroyed PlayStation

I swear, this mission was fucking impossible. Road so slippery from rain, screen turning so dark, police cars fast as fuck, so many of them. I knew about all the tricks like looking left or right for police cars to appear there on the map and about them ramming me straight in the back for my car not losing too much control and about squeezing between house and lamp post for them to crash into it. I think I made it to the last corner or one of the last corners when I got anal'ed by the police cars again. I was so sad I never finished Driver, but that last mission was just not possible for me to finish back then.

Cool. I finished this stage in either April, June or July 2002. I slid upside-down into the garage and it still let me pass. I think the FMV after showed the car driving away so arriving upside-down was kinda incongruous to the conclusion. I barely played Driver 2. One of the first few missions was too hard so put me off.
