That video recording of Mrs. Hamer is as hard to listen to now as it was when I first heard it. Haunting...😱
Her memory is a blessing to us.
May our Ancestor continue to Rest in Power. Ase Us/We

One of the best classes ever! Mrs. Hamer has been a giant warrior and truth teller to me since the 60s when I found out who she is - because she is not dead. Her work and her spirit live on to teach and inspire us to greatness.

*In my **#DjKhaled** voice🗣️.....AND ANOTHER ONE!!!!!💕✊🏽💕A great class of KNOWLEDGE and LIBERATION!*
*Thank you Dr. Carr for discussing (Sorors🔺) Joyce and Dorie Lader, both these ladies are simply Civil Rights Royalty! @Karen, I could listen to the two of you talk forever about the life of Fannie Lou Hamer!!!! Mrs. Hamer is at the top of my Sheroe👑List!!! However, I find it interesting that so many people have made MONEY 💲💰💲 off of the legacy of Mrs. Hamer; I listened to (the late🕊️) Mrs. Vergie Hamer Faulkner (Fannie Lou Hamer's daughter) interview with Mississippi Public Broadcasting and she discussed the poverty they lived within, and also the money 'OTHER' people continued to make in her mother's name. No generational wealth for this family, interesting!!!!*
*@Karen and Dr. Carr may the two of you and your team continue to BLESS the minds of many!!!* ✨👑✨

Again I say THANK YOU Prof. Hunter and Dr. Carr, for bringing us the history lessons of our brave ancestors!!
Their fortitude is admirable and calls to mind the poem of another fierce female ancestor, Dr. Maya Angelo -
"You may write me down in history
    With your bitter, twisted lies,
You may trod me in the very dirt
But still, like dust, I'll rise."
Our ancestors RISE because of the efforts you both put into keeping them alive for us and the generations to come!!
    Thank you!!👍🏽💯

Excellent as always! Have always loved Mrs. Fannie Lou Hamer- did not know she is my birthday twin. My mom taught us about picking cotton -backbreaking work, dodging rattlesnakes, and often getting cheated in the end. I stop complaining about life at the mere thought of what elders endured. With Dr. Carr, see no beauty in plantations(SC) only the work that had to be done. Thanks for playing the recordings of her speaking. ❤

Great class and discussion as always Dr. Carr and Prof. Hunter.
When the name of Sheriff Cecil Price was mentioned, I recalled an ESPN 30 for 30 that I recently rewatched: "The Best That Never Was". It's a documentary on Marcus Dupree who was arguably the greatest high school football prospect in the country during the early 1980's. He was out of Philadelphia, Mississippi and was very good friends and teammates with Cecil Price Jr.
Marcus Dupree talked about how he was accepted by the Price family. As a matter of fact Cecil Price Sr. helped Dupree obtain a CDL to establish his trucking career after football. Here is the part that really shouted out to me SOCIAL STRUCTURE ; there was a feeling that Marcus' football exploits in Philadelphia, Mississippi brought the races together. Black and white sitting in the crowd together cheering on their beloved Philadelphia Tornadoes. "Who are Africans to other people".

Thank you again Dr. Carr I cannot get enough of listening to you. God Bless you and Professor Hunter for bringing this Knowledge and History to our young men, women, and children. We need to come together and love each other because we are living in the beginning of the end times. Stop killing each other. Love God first. Read the Bible it has all the people information on love, family, helping family and others. Also about the children of Satan. Intergration hurt us. That is why Satan and his followers do not want CRT taught in schools because the truth will come out about their lies about the black men and women, and their hateful treatment of us for over 400 years and still counting. 🙏 Constantly, and ask God for forgiveness, Grace and Mercy. I am a sinner but each day God wake me up i try to be a better person. In Jesus the Christ name. Amen.

The 3rd crew named Hunter& Carr removed the floors to find out the foundation was initially constructed wrong and it caused the walls to sag letting in moisture from the rain............
