- Aurora City Manager Jim Twombly and Mayor Mike Coffman discussed what Twombly said was his decision to fire Police Chief Vanessa Wilson after a little more than two years on the job.
A month?? A month of discussions?!
She HAD TO concentrate on the community! No one else had been doing that! Chief Wilson took over a corrupt, out of control police department! She was given one month notice of her supervisors' dissatisfaction with her performance. One lousy month to negotiate or try to meet their demands. Ridiculous!
Denver should get rid of their chief of police also.
And their mayor.
Aurora is in good shape compared to Denver
Mike Coffman and Jim Twombly threw her under the bus, lol they threw thier own under the bus. But however I'm not a fan of the police or justice system by no means but they did hand her a bowl of shit and bad timing for her .. but she made a bad decision to have taken this or should I say fall for this set up so on that note hope she learned something about her own kin...lol
Need to select leaders, not genders or skin!

APD Really clearly needs to be better at whom they hire and Not prioritizing bad officers and mental ability's to deal with the job mentally for officers vs the mentally proven stronger minded people applying to the jobs such as myself in the past just sick how they refuse to hire quality and mentally strong and clearly can endure the required stress as an officer all over the world should be required to be able to deal with professionally...
