Thank you for sharing this. It's not enough to advertise oneself as a disciple of Sri Guru. One needs to act in a way that will bring pleasure to their guru.

Wow, this reaches deep into the heart. I was there in Bhubaneswar for the arrival address after the Mayapur GBC meetings in 1994 when Gurudeva said "They are holding an axe over my head," and I got the impression that we were the problem, not just the GBC, but it was hard to find anyone who would agree. I wish I had seen this class/address before; this really tells it like it is. It's not easy to give up pride but somehow we have to do it. Avoid associating with proud people, that should help, but ultimately, we have to do it ourselves; we have to find it attractive, and want to become humble. What pleases Guru n Krishna is also pleasing to us. Haribol kind brothers and sisters.

"The disciple must strictly follow the instructions of his spiritual master 'as it is': ISKCON GBC and their unauthorized voting system to be a guru means they are NOT following Srila Prabhupada's instructions on initiations: Wake up>Here is why;
GBC Never Fulfilled Their Duty
As stated in the Direction of Management, wherein he created the GBC, “The purpose of the Governing Body Commission is to act as the instrument for the execution of the Will of His Divine Grace.” Again and again Srila Prabhupada repeated these instructions to the GBC in letters to them:
However, almost from the outset those appointed to the rank of GBC misinterpreted, or willfully ignored these simple instructions, interpreting their role as being controllers of the society:
The corrupt GBC, taking this phrase to mean that they are both the “Ultimate Managers,” and the “Ultimate Authority.” think they can do with ISKCON as they see fit, while disregarding Srila Prabhupada’s earlier statements of what ISKCON is meant to be - forgetting that their authority stems from him even to this day. They interpret their title to mean they are equal to Srila Prabhupada himself, even stating that whatever they say is as if Srila Prabhupada himself had said it. And beyond that, through this idea of being the “ultimate authority” they attempt to create siddhanta (spiritual principles), contradicting long-established Gaudiya Siddhanta. Thus many of their ‘laws’ are simply dogma. The most glaring example of this is their idea that all gurus connected with ISKCON must be subordinate to their control, ignoring the fact that the bona fide guru must be a transcendental autocrat.
The GBC’s Authority is Hereby Rejected
The GBC have failed in every respect to carry out Srila Prabhupada’s instructions to themselves and for his mission.
They have taken charge of Srila Prabhupada’s ISKCON as if it were their own to do with what they please, rather than acting as fiduciaries carefully protecting what Srila Prabhupada had entrusted to them, and in fact are acting in opposition to Srila Prabhupada’s direct instructions!

But, beware of Vaishnava apradha and do bhajan instead of judging Srila Prabhupada disciples.
@@ranjeet436 This is my Bhajan, telling the truth Ranjet, "to call a thief a thief" is not Vaishnava Apradha. The bonafide spiritual master is glorified in the three worlds and the most intelligent, our Srila Prabhupada never authorized any of his ISKCON devotees to be diska guru in ISKCON by some 2/3 voting system, by accepting the voting process he disobeyed the bonafide spiritual master.
