A NOTE ON COLOUR:
I promise I’m not letting colour analysis rule or ruin my life queens!! For me, it’s an amazing tool to dress a bit more harmoniously and build a capsule wardrobe that all works together. But as you saw, I kept lots of black and darker items that aren’t in my colour palette. I find it really fun and liberating to express myself through colour, so for me it’s been so fun and helpful. If it’s not for you, no worries 🥰 as always, what I share on my channel are things that work for me and I always encourage you to do what works for you!! Xxx
I think it's fine to let the color analysis be a guideline. I saw the color analysis video, and I think those ladies did a good job.
color theory is about the items closest to your face (tops, dresses, scarves). i dont think wearing a different color on the bottom as a pant or skirt should matter.
Keep the brown jeans! The idea that we should always be fitting into our color palette is bs imo. It perpetuates this idea that beauty is the ultimate thing to strive for - if a color or article of clothing makes you happy or comfortable, that doesn't always have to be because it makes you look "the best" (in quotes because that's highly subjective)
Totally agree! I like how the analysts described it to me, it’s about everything working for you not against you aka it’s about harmony not beauty. I like that perspective - but I agree that fashion is so much more than everything looking the best on you!!
I actually love darker colors like black,brown & navy on you. I also think that you should keep the dark green jumper👌🏻

In another video about personal color palette I saw they were saying that what's on top of your body (belly up) is important that it is in your color palette, because those clothes reflect on your face, you do not have to worry about bottoms. So I say, keep those brown jeans if you like them and try to pair it with top that is in your palette.
I think bc the jeans were perfect with her hair and the fit was perfect.
As a fellow true summer, I wouldn’t shy away from those darker colours if you like them. They might not be the ‘perfect’ colours for your undertone, but they can still look really nice. I’ve always liked how Black looks on me and my colour season won’t change that. 😂
Also, as long as you’re wearing other colours with it, it can still look balanced.

you should definitely dye the brown jeans a colour that you'd prefer!!! they fit so well, would be a shame to lose them, you could definitely make them fit your colour palette!

I know you did the colour analysis but please don't feel limited to only the colours that were atributed to you! With time you'll find that extremely limiting and frustrating. Plus, everytime I see you put on a red item I immediately think that red is your colour, you look absolutely radiant in red!
I hear you! I definitely haven’t found it limiting, it’s actually been so liberating for me to explore all of these colours that look great on me. But don’t worry, red is in my colour palette!! I just opt for a cooler red (like the pants I kept!) rather than a warmer one xx
I've been looking forward to this vid ever since you teased it on your ig story and you did not disappoint! it was so satisfying seeing you get rid of so much stuff that wasn't working for you, the professional colour analysis seems to really have helped you settle in your personal style:)) as for the black top with the faded white seam, you could dye the seam a more vibrant colour, maybe one that you tend to gravitate a lot towards anyways, like the gemstone colours!!

I think it's okay to keep piece that are not your "colour palette", sometimes you need some darker basic, so really it's fine to keep them)

I am so happy for you! When I watched your other closet cleanouts I felt the items dragging you down and haunting you, now you seem so liberated! I don’t know much about the weather where you live, but have you thought of having an autumn/winter wardrobe and a spring/summer one? And then swapping the clothes… bc it looks like you keep things that are not seasonal taking valuable real state in your closet
Aw this means a lot. I’m definitely in a better place with my style!! I kept my coats down in the garage for the summer but where I live the weather is soo unpredictable (they say we get 4 seasons in a day) so for now it’s honestly easier to keep it all there. But when the winter starts I’ll move my dresses and skirts!
I did my own little closet clean out/organise along side this video! I loved it!!! And as most of the comments suggest, don't be too hard on yourself regarding your colours... the truth is finding what suits you is amazing, but it's just a guide - you want to find your personal style withing the scope, know the rules so that you can break the rules - stay edgy and fun by colouring outside the lines :) Love the video! You seem so happy and it's a joy to watch!!

I've been obsessed with the Colour Analysis Studio girlies and then I came across your video with them! It's so interesting and cool to see that all of the summer colours work on you! I ended up digging into your channel and watched an older closet cleanout video and then this one right after and wow what a difference in your decision making just based on the fact that you're stepping into your colour palette. Fascinating stuff, you're really cool and I think you're the closest I've come to having a doppelganger. (Still pretty far from it but oh well) 😅 Annnnd that's a wrap on my day! I was the same when i had my colors done. It is fun to have it done and amazing how it changes the face if not wearing the color that goes with complexion etc. I haven't seen your color analysis videos yet so i may repeat this. I look at it as you need to wear yours colors when you are doing something that is close to face like portraits or an interview. If it is a color you like just wear it in like pants or skirts as you can still enjoy wearing them. Its good to go by color like for makeup and jewelry. Looks funny when someone wears a cool color on eyes and warmer color on cheeks and then cool on lips. Jewelry that is gold tone is a warm color and silver is a cool color. If you can't figure it out then wear two tone jewelry. Just play around with it and have fun!! TFS

Good clear out. I you struggle to make decisions it can be helpful to have a goal number in mind, e.g. for me it’s 6 jeans and trousers and no more, and that works well for me

I’m also a True Summer, was so excited to see you were favoring the colors I favor!! 💖 Personally, I’d get rid of the fuzzy navy blue sweater though, navy blue has a way of making us look like we’re unhealthy and even heavier than we are. I never touch navy blue anymore. (But certain shades of more royal blue can be flattering in rare instances. Either way, I mostly avoid dark blues just because I know they’re unflattering 99% of the time)

Hahaha yes this is a pet peeve when I’m watching other people’s clean outs. Now that my wardrobe is 95% thrifted I feel a lot more chill about donating stuff back to the thrift store

Add a slip under the dresses that are to short, adds length and you can find one with lace trim for added style!

To clean that white strip, you could try to use baking soda. You make a sort of paste of baking soda and a little bit of water, then take a tooth brush and try to rub on the white part. This baking soda paste are wonders for cleaning white sneakers, it really works! Although not sure how it would work on fabric (and not sure if it could ruin the black part of you get in on there), could be worth a shot :)
This sounds like a great idea! If that doesn't work - spray the white trim with some (non bleach) Vanish and wash with a colour catcher on 40°C

Try dye things when you can its a great way to give more life to things you already own! Also great to see you spread the message of 'clothes are made to fit us we aren't made to fit clothes' it's a message we all need to hear! Sad to see you say only minutes later about being in your fitzbo era and setting an expectation for your body to fit in clothes... Be kind to yourself remember to take on the kindness that you give others too.💕

Hi Harriet! If you don't want to let go of dresses or skirts that are too short for you, you can just layer a flowy skirt underneath for more length! I do this all the time. 🥰

Yasss go clean out that closet queen
If you have a piece that you love, but isn't in your color season, try pairing it with a scarf, a top, etc. (anything close to your face) that is your color. That way you can keep your favorite pieces, but still honor your color season. Also, it's okay if you don't like a color on yourself, but when it comes to color seasons, what really matters is what is on the top half of your body. This is because the color is "reflecting" on your face and making you look your best or kind of meh. Do what you will on the bottom! P.S. Those brown jeans are so cool!

I think you don't always have to only keep one item, when you got 3 similar ones. Keep the ones you wear regularly and make you feel good. If one of them breaks, at least you got another. Otherwise you are gonna have to rebuy them.
Totally agree! I kept loads of white tshirts/purple singlets etc, but for pieces I rarely wear (eg black jeans) I wanted to narrow it down to only one x

Okay, the brown jeans at 12:00 are actually a summer brown I think? They’re awesome and you should keep them if they make you happy. Plus keeping your best colors near your face is really important, but you can pair it with neutrals on the bottom or in shoes and it’s not a bad thing.

The doors in your palette are ones near your face. Brown pants are fine. Black pants are fine. Anything goes in terms of color from waist down. Keep those stunning brown pants.

I am also for keeping the brown jeans! It is not near your face, so it doesn't do such damage ☺️ and solution for the black top - dye it all black! Easy and efective. And also my thoughts of your color season.. I can't help it but you look like light summer leaning to light spring to me (so you can wear some colors from light spring). I don't see you soft at all (soft summer), imo it washes out your beautiful features, which seems light, so you need some more "color" to match your contrast. I am just assuming from clothes that you tried in this video and it is just my opinion 🤍 either way just keep and wear what you like, what makes you happy ❤

I really recommend that you watch Christina Mychas videos about decluttering clothes. She has many really good tips about it. One I'd like to relay to you is to not declutter clothes that aren't the current season. So, for example don't declutter your winter clothes if it's currently summer, because it's easy to make mistakes and throw away pieces that, once the cold season comes, you wish you still had. And instead, declutter your clothes at the end of said season (declutter winter clothes at the end of winter), when you know which clothes you did reach for during that season
