  • Vitamix Container Blend-Off! Vitamix 64 oz vs 32 oz Container Making Ice Cream!
    In order to demonstrate the volume necessary when blending with the Vitamix 64 oz container (low profile), my friend Lenny from LifeIsNoYoke.com and I decided to have a little fun by comparing the amount required by this container vs the smallest Vitamix 32 oz container making ice cream... aka strawberry banana "nice cream".

    I made this tonight in the exact blender. (780 64oz low profile container) only used 3 bananas sliced and frozen. Ran it on the lowest setting (1) the banana slices turned into a ball that spun slowly on the blades and turned into thick smooth ice cream. At higher speeds it just flung everything to the sides of the blender.

      I always start out at the lowest setting, whatever I'm blending, so the ingredients don't fling all over the container as much. They started out at high at the get-go. Surprising.

    I have vitamix 3500 ser. Which comes with 64oz. I do have a bit issue when I do hazelnuts chocolate it gets stuck under the blade and flys every where, I feel it’s because I’m not using enough. Do u think buying 48oz wet or dry would be a good idea or wait and hope they would release 32oz ? Or no need to wast my money.

    Hello looove the vídeo!!
    Though I also have this doubt about acquiring my second container 32 or 48oz. If I was single that would not be a doubt, but I’m in a family of three, (sometimes with 4, 5, 6... at home) so I feel a bit afraid to regret the 32 Oz although I recognize that even with a bug family there are some tasks for which the smaller container will be the best. Terrible doubt!!

    I am a single person, but do not want the Series or Explorian. I am interested in the Pro 750 Heritage which is a bit quieter (metal base) and will need a second container. My question is do you find the 32 oz container preferable to the 48 oz for one or two smoothies and for the ice cream shown in the demo. I was happy to see the comparison in this video. Just would like to know your preference with 32 oz or 48 oz additional container. I am becoming a bit more interested in the 32 oz. Hope you can advise, thank you.

    Please help me...
    If I want to cover the blade with this least amount of ingredients , is there a difference between the small 48 oz vs the 32 oz?
    I have the 48 oz but work in small batches for my self. Will the 32 oz be even better ? Or same?
    The self detect...it does not allow you to add any vitmaix container to it...so besides the blue tooth recipes...is there any real advantage over the older models?
    Thank u!!!!

    • @BlenderBabes
      @BlenderBabes  5 лет назад +2

      vacationboyvideos Hi! Yes there is a difference between the 32oz and 48o container. It’s smaller and more narrow. Regarding the self detect: they have even smaller blending bowls which the older models do not have. Also for the personal blending cups you need to buy the adapter to go with, which can also do very small amounts. Hope that helps! 😊 ~Tarashaun

    I have used the original 64 oz tall container for going on 25 years now and have had a lot of success in making small amounts. It is the fact that the 64 oz container is so narrow at the point of attack. If you are having difficulty making ice cream add a small amount of ice and a couple of tablespoons of half and half to your banana and strawberry mixture. You cant have too much ice cream.

    • @BlenderBabes
      @BlenderBabes  Год назад

      Yes the 64oz tall jar is great for exactly this reason! Can do small, medium and large batches all in one jar.

    Awesome video! What about the difference between the 64oz classic and the 32oz? I know their minimum quantity for thick smoothies (I just want to make single serve 16oz smoothie bowls or nut butters) is the same but is that the same with the difference in tamper size as well?

    • @MrBritishComedy
      @MrBritishComedy Год назад +1

      The Classic would be able to handle small amounts just fine as that container has the same narrow base. Also suction towards the blades is just so much better in the narrow containers. The low profile ones just aren't as great a design.

    • @brianperry4815
      @brianperry4815 7 месяцев назад

      As I have the 32 oz container I can help. Yep you can use the old tamper BUT it is designed to use à mini tamper as it is not as tall as the larger one. The old tamper will stop at the large taper .Smaller hole on the lid.
      That is what I have expérienced.

  • @koalasez1200
    @koalasez1200 Год назад

    4 frozen bananas and some frozen strawberries, splash of cream in a 32 oz or 48 oz container. It has to have enough in there. These aren't designed for a tiny portion. This was sort of a silly comparison.

    • @BlenderBabes
