    Advice is worth what people are willing to pay for it. I live in Mexico for almost nothing. When I post a video or website post, I'll get guys really down on their luck financially. They spend a huge amount of my time asking the most basic of questions. I've always said if you've got borderline personality disorders in the US, you'll drag those with you wherever you go. I have a super power. The ability to say know. Plenty of lonely old guys don't.

I don't do Facebook because I rarily have time to watch you and Old Dog most days...Being a Airline Pilot I won't have time to keep a Filipina interested in me unless I come there and visit first...But this guy you talked about got issues and I am glad you are finally rid of him..Great Stuff you put out...

    hi Reekay,
    I like Stoic Bond, interesting channel. About Willie, I think the issue is tied to his isolation. Basically living in a social vacuum for work, he doesn't get to try different ways to interact with women. So he's like a high-gain microphone in an empty room. All he hears, is his own feedback, instead of other voices providing a broader, healthier perspective. Failure is an important part of learning, but he needs to know "the theory" of healthy interactions, to develop the social tools to actually participate in a great relationship.

    Your mom drilled into you one of the most important wisdom on how to live a good life.
    Which is basically, you have zero control of anyone, how they behave, their attitude.
    But you have complete control of your attitude, how you react and how you behave.

    I'm not quite sure if you have covered all bases of life there in the in the Philippines, I mean, if someone gets extremely ill, are the hospitals there well maintained for proper health care? Or are they pretty much run down. Is there a serious problem with diarrhea? Do they have proper sewage facilities to treat human sewage? Food safety. Do they have government agencies to contend with food spoilage at food market places to protect of food expiration dates on perishable food items? Are most Filipinos vaccinated? Etc...etc....

    I get the physical attraction, many of these women are very attractive. But, what do you expect when you head over to the Philippines for a couple of weeks vacation? You're looking for good times and you mostly find good time girls. They know what the score is, you should as well. If you're looking for a serious relationship with ANY woman, including Filipinas, you have to follow a serious course. But, some guys never learn.

      That's not the right question bro...The right question is: Is your heart strong enough to handle the bs your Pinay companion will bring to your bed? Family drama, tampo, constant karaoke, hehehehe....How many crazy chicks have you dealt with in the past? Or, to use Jimmy Hendlix' lyrics, Are you experienced? I know 15 year old Dominican boys that understand women better than 90 year old American men...If you have over 2.5 million in the bank and experience at dealing with all sorts of people, do it...Otherwise stay home and don't cancel your subscription to PornHub...and there you can visit any country you want....

    Look here's the hard truth. Before I met my current wife I made all the mistakes with a beautiful but evil Filapina gold digger. It was only through learning hard awful lessons from my divorce that I was able to stop the damage at $3000. Men make our own mistakes and no one to blame but ourselves for falling prey to scammers or even getting in to a relationship with a wonderful and trustworthy women like I have now. In as much as we all like to make excuses as grown ass men we have only ourselves to blame for adult mistake

    yea i am on a Filipino dating site and one time a Filipino and i started to chat, the chat only lasted like maybe 2 hrs, then she said she had to charge her phone, well that was 2 days ago, now i had invited her on viber, which is a chat app, well i blocked her and removed her from my viber and the reason is, it does not take 2 days to charge a cell phone, i just took it after we chatted and had a video chat on viber, she spoke very little English and i did not speak Filipino at all, so the only thing i can figure is she was not that interested in me, well ok no problem on my end, so yea gents do not simp over any woman, if they stop chatting with you for more then a day i would say, just block or remove them from your chat app you are on and keep it pushing like i did, do not do like what willie here did, that is simping ok and no it does not make a man look good, it really makes a man look very bad and most women do not like guys simping on them, it makes a man look very weak to not only women but to other men as well ok, cheers :)

    So... your channel mostly covers expats moving to PI and either finding a wife or finding a string of girlfriends. I've seen channels on Thailand that mostly focus on going to "go go" bars, beer bars, afternoon gentlemen's clubs & whatnot where you can relax, have a drink & maybe meet a woman who will spend time with you. Sometimes a couple days, sometimes a couple hours. Are there bar settings like this in the Philippines? Somewhere you can have a drink or a meal watch a sporting event & go home... or you can buy a drink for one of the staff & maybe entertain her for the night, depending on if you both are interested? I've never really seen a channel that covers that dating/relationship angle in the Philippines.

    • @Lifebeyondthesea
      @Lifebeyondthesea  Месяц назад

      yes, however i'd say 90% of that is done in Angeles City, near Manila. as well as various parts of Manila city itself. think of it as Pattaya-Lite.
      Cebu City (Mango Square area) has less of this than Angeles, but you can find some cheesy dives here and there. i've been to several and, honestly, it's very disappointing to see women who are about 4's and 5's on a 1-10 scale. once in a blue moon you might see an 8+.
      the rest of the PH, it's hit and miss. mostly miss.

    Can I ask you guys opinion on something. We already know what Reekay thinks on this subject. I wanna know what you guys really think. Talk like no one's gonna know. Exactly what is the benefit to us expats to get married? We can't work. Can't own anything and most of the time have no children in the Philippines of our own. So outside of pleasing the woman we love. What is in it for us?

    • @williamblaker2628
      @williamblaker2628 Месяц назад +2

      Your own situation will dictate your reasoning. If you feel like there's no compelling reason to do something, then the answer is: don't do that thing.
      Other people have their own reasons and motivations, but a general one is to have a loving relationship that they find satisfying.
      If you're retired, have savings, and a pension, not being able to work isn't an issue. Also, property ownership isn't required to enjoy life. Renting/leasing is fine with many people. Also, if you really want to own your lodging, you can buy a condo there. You can own a building, but you can't own the land it's on. So, you can own an entire house there, but you have to lease the land it's on for 30 or more years. As for me, I feel no need to own property. It's cheaper and more convenient to rent a house because I can move anywhere I want at any time I want. Owning a home ties you down; plus, it's *really* hard and time-consuming to sell property in Asia. It usually takes years to sell it, and you'll almost always lose money on it. Owning property, whether it's a condo or a house, is a pretty bad financial investment over there. But, rents are cheap compared to western economies.
      If you're not financially secure, and you have to work for a living, then moving to the Philippines will be difficult. Some people can earn a living performing their work remotely, with only occasionally needing to fly home for in-person work. Some people own a business in the Philippines, for example, a hotel, resort, scuba dive shop, store, factory, security firms, or whatever. In general, running a successful business is difficult and risky. But some people do it. Some people own multiple homes or apartments in their western country and rent them out to earn their living that supports their life in the Philippines.
      But, what's the motivation? For most people, it's companionship. Only you can decide what works for you.
