2:38 Aqua Dolphin can only destroy monsters with attack less than what he had on field, which means he had Aqua Dolphin with 600, and DPE with 2500, so he could probably destroy any monster you had in your hand. If the card could destroy anything, even the S/T then it would have been banned by now lol
i think puppet lock is good, sometimes you need punish snake user for beeing special summon his monster,but if you face labyrith player i think puppet is useless since labyritnh will set his set card and wait to activate on next turn but since this meta people always bring droplet i think add puppet lock is not effective on current meta in my opinion
Do you think branded builds are better in 40 like your or 50 or even 60? I think in 60 you see no engine but in 40 you see too much bricks like tragedy or lost in your hand so a 50 is maybe the best choice, opinions?
hmm, i think play 50 or 60 are good bro as long as you are not bricking bro, idk why i never try play deck over than 40 except dragon link or branded before i play 40 cards branded i start play branded with 60, i found my hand almost brick when i play 60, so i decide to reduce into 48, but the result was same like 60 cards (maybe depends on our luck 🤣) so i decide to use 40 cards, and it seems well for me,
I always play 60, and have been playing 60 for a year now, I get engine 80-90% of the time. 60 is also the most comfortable, because you have space for both handtraps/board breakers/protection, and engine (plus the Nightmare lock of course). The key here is probably the ratios you put in the deck. Except for Aluber, Albaz, and Branded Fusion, just mess with everything else in the main engine, even the spells/traps. I would recommend 2 of every major engine monsters, like Kitt, Cartesia, Quem. 2 of Cartesia is the standard I believe, but I play 2 of Quem since Kashtira is still a thing, there are quite many times my 1 of Quem was banished. Quem is a major end board piece + semi starter, but she’s an UR so 2 of Quem is comfortable enough. The Bystials would be 2 of Lubellion and 1 of Saronir, Druiswurm is optional, but I don’t play it since it’s a monster removal, this deck is very good at it already. S/T would be like the normal Branded builds, 1 of Lost, 1 of Banishment, the difference here is 1 of High Spirits, 1 of Beast for S/T removal, 2 of Retribution for recursion + SS negate, 2 of Red, since Red works so well with the whole thing, and it’s also very good if you have Guardian Chimera. There’s also some builds with Branded Sword in it, since there is a line (iirc, it’s a 2-card combo between Branded Fusion and Bystial Lubellion) that gets you to both Rindbrumm and Mirrorjade on field, but you need to banish Mercourrier, and Sword GY eff adds it back to the hand. I don’t play it though, since I couldn’t count how many times I’ve bricked with it, and this deck still functions without Mercourrier (this is where I think I should say: you can fix the problem by playing 2 of Mercourrier, but the card is an UR and I don’t have the dust lol). There’s probably more, but today is the 10GB update of MD so I cannot check immediately, but if you want, I will send a decklist after the update for you.
